The recent news is coming from an interview that will air Sunday on CBS.  At a guess, I don't think the left is giving any attention to this, it just makes them feel bad.  But the right is pointing out some obvious problems with these previews.  Jill thought her husband was having a stroke during the primary debate but did not immediately get involved or send in medics.  Instead she took Joe to whatever event they had scheduled after the debate.  Because that's how you show your true love for someone.

To the extent the media is covering this, it's to push all the blame onto Jill who must have been lying all these years about what great shape Biden was in.  They were just repeating the lies she told them, that's all.  And ignored any direct encounters they had with Biden themselves.  Yeah, that's why they're not going to give this much publicity.  They can't push all the blame for this onto others and as leftists, ignoring things is much easier.

They need to ignore Biden because otherwise his problems will be too obvious.  But they also need to pretend he was actually POTUS so there's a contradiction there.  Maybe they hope to wait several years and then he'll have suddenly gone downhill, tsk tsk tsk, too bad.  But until then, they're stuck with Jill and Hunter.  At least Jill just needs to get through a few more years and she'll be in the same situation as Biden, Hunter's looking at a couple more decades of this.  And they're already watching the media turn on them.

The black guy didn't do much, he was just screaming at them about blocking traffic.  Maybe I just haven't paid much attention to recent protests but I'm kinda surprised there are any, much less stupid enough to block traffic.  I was under the impression that the left was starting to realize that they could be run over and nobody's going to care.

Even here, some of the protesters did see this as a problem.  They're claiming to defend the working class but are actively making working class lives harder.  I'm surprised that any of them had the self-awareness to realize this, much less say anything during the protests.  They all had to back down once they realized they were disagreeing with a black man.  At least others in the working class can be forced to shut up.

So this is how they're trying to keep pushing the activism, rich old white people.   Springsteen needs to follow a teleprompter to know what to say and of the others listed, Joan Baez is practically the most famous one as far as I'm concerned.  WTF is she still doing being allowed to go outside?  All these people who, if they weren't born rich, have been quite rich for decades.  But now they're finally ready to save us all, even from the giant corporations they sold their music library to.

Might work better than Antifa blocking the streets, that's about all I can say.  In theory, someone might like at least one of these bands and pay to go see them.  It is weird that there doesn't seem to be much in the way of standard concerts anymore, just festivals with tons of acts.  Haven't worked out how but that seems to more collectivist mentality, especially for big corporations who want to sell a wide range of product to their interchangeable customer base.  That's leftism for you.

I'll continue to criticize how I think this is being handled but at least here we see an example of Trump the negotiator.  He's not playing nice, arguing about this or that demand.  He's still on the position he started, the Strait is open, Iran gives up nuclear enrichment and he's added that they have to sign the Abraham Accords.  That last one seems very unlikely and even if Iran did sign, should be treated as a joke, but it's a negotiable point unlike the other two.

Convenient timing, another current war adds this problem.  The city of Galați is close to the border and has been hit before by fragments from drones.  It doesn't look remotely intentional to me but Ukraine and Romania have every reason to claim it was.  The rest of NATO and their pet media has every reason to repeat that propaganda.

Russia's recently been hitting Ukraine heavily with drones, particularly Kiev.  That's another thing that doesn't help their case.  Hitting Kiev is one thing but how much further east do you need to strike?  Particularly if your drones are that bad at aiming.  I don't think this will lead to anything on its own but it really does help those who've craved war with Russia for the last four+ years.

It's similar to the problem they're having up in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, where they're being hit by Ukrainian drones.  This is causing extra problems, spreading the war anyway because both sides are bad at aiming.  Or worse, what if either side is lying about who actually attacked someone they weren't supposed to?

Then there's China which is making its own move through allies and servants.  They already have a lot of authority at the UN and will keep demanding more, which leftists support of course.  Xi recently had a meeting with Putin and they announced a bunch of demands for their version of the 'new world order.'  A few days ago, some of their agents were caught sneaking across the border into Texas.  There's basically no way to figure out what all these countries are doing around the world, much less if there's any progress we can support.  In fact I have to wonder how much of this has been going on for decades without our knowledge.  This is why government has a legitimate reason to keep hidden secrets, especially in wartime.

This also comes from the New Jersey protests.  This shows the reason that ICE wears masks.  They are fighting people who have no self-control or intelligence, they are very willing to support murder if they can find the targets.  There's simply no valid reason to make it easier for them, duh.

I'm guessing there will be more protests like this as the summer starts but I will admit that the last few months seem to have been fairly quiet.  I really do think that at least some leftists are having some second thoughts, 'these people are on our side!'  There has to be a lot of self-questioning, like 'who's making these decisions to act like this?  It's not me so is it them?'  Then there's the leftists who might qualify as 'moderate' who are just getting tired of this, threatening murder and blocking traffic for no sensible reason.

These people will continue these protests as long as they never have to face any real consequences.  Some of them are just drawn towards violence - another protestor was arrested for biting an ICE agent - which will bring more problems.  If you support violence, you could at least prepare for it, training and practice.  ICE does that and can easily take you down if you really push it.  Otherwise it's just driving people away for no real effect on the mission.  Not a good idea.
