Interesting news, several Marvel movies in a row have not done well.  "Black Widow" was the only one I had even heard of that came out and I've already pointed out that Scarlett Johansen was past her best-by date.  It's also worth noting that women just don't seem that interested in movies about action chicks so right there is a drop in the audience.

I'll have to look it up, but "Shang Chi" sounds like it didn't do well, followed by "Eternals."  I could see "Shang Chi" getting banned in China and, as far as I know, is just a generic martial arts character anyway.  "Eternals" just doesn't sound interesting despite being something I was slightly tempted to see.  [I miss having a memory.]

And suddenly the latest "Spider-Man" movie has set massive box office records, biggest first week in history or something like that.  I thought everybody was banned from doing anything in public, particularly if they aren't vaccinated.  Right there is a chunk of audience but the media is full of reports that everybody wants to see this movie, despite the virus?

And just a note, two Democrats have just been carjacked, both in their home towns long-run by Democrats.  You think either of them is going to change their minds on banning the police?  Even the one who flat-out thanked the police after she was hit.  Oh yes, they're both female.  No word on the skin color or gender of the attackers (yes, plural, two attackers in Philly, three in Chicago) but obviously the females were not competent to defend themselves and certainly didn't have anyone around who would do that.

Now maybe this are just excuses to be daddy government to come in and save the day.
