Another country collapsing?  Muqtada al Sadr said he was leaving politics so his supporters attacked the Presidential Palace.  It's not clear if they're trying to take over or if they're just rioting.  His supporters claim to have taken over several other government buildings.

Al Sadr is a Shi'ite so he is in line with Iran but sometimes defies them when it's convenient.  I would assume that's just part of the very long rivalry between the two regions.  If one side was Sunni or infidel, they'd already be destroyed by the other.

Great, now I'm reminiscing about fifteen years ago when my unit helped kick al Sadr's ass.  So much for glory days.

I also see reports that the embassy is being evacuated.  Obviously it's a situation where you don't know what's really happening, but if I had to bet, we're either evacuating now or we will in the next few days.

Does the government need to save money to pay for student loans?  September 2 is the last day you can order a free test kit.  This poses the question, what if we're required by our jobs to take these stupid things?  Will we have to pay out of our own pocket?

But their supplies are apparently low and they expect yet-another surge right before the election.  Um, aren't there people in the government who should be keeping track of this stuff and made preparations months ago?  But the executive branch is blaming Congress for not giving the money to buy more.  Yes, you just read that sentence.

And this is how they deal with an ongoing national crisis (or one that's over, depending on which court they're testifying in at the time)?  What would they do for a *real* crisis?  Other than cause it, I mean.

This would be nice if it turns out to be true.  Scratch that, if it turns out to be true *and* actually goes somewhere that matters.  That hasn't happened so far.

So far, the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago hasn't gone anywhere.  More is coming out that the documents taken were unclassified by the POTUS and more was taken that's protected by attorney/client privilege.  The guy in charge of that, Tim Thibault, was removed from headquarters a few days ago.

Thibault also had major roles in preventing the investigation of Hillary's secure documents, made sure Hunter Biden's laptop was kept hidden and handled the FBI's role in election integrity for 2020.  Supposedly a dozen FBI agents are talking about him to Congress and prosecutors.

It's possible that the Justice Department is just sacrificing Thibault to save themselves.  Those in charge will claim he lied to them so they can get back to attacking Trump.  That's as believable as saying that anything will be done about this.  Thibault will probably get a job handling election integrity this November.

They're trying to complete their declared tyranny.  If Congress wants to talk to you, they get to.  They're Congress.  And if you have information Congress should know, telling them is the way to do it.

This is a mafia schtick, making sure your moogs don't think of telling people things you don't want others to know.  They're already out to get the Supreme Court, they might as well add Congress.  And they're at war with Russia too.

What kind of employer orders workers not to speak to those who make the laws the employer supposedly follows?  Once upon a time, liberals pretended to oppose employers making their employees do anything like this.

By the way, there is an Executive Order from FDR, supplanted by actual laws, permitting federal employees to talk to Congress.  I guess they would have supported Trump more if he had an EO forbidding federal employees to talk to Congress the way Biden's people do.

They're projecting their own desires to fight the USA onto other people.  Would these F-15 pilots be the one Biden's fired or the ones who died for some mysterious reason after being forced to take the shot Biden fired the others for?

The Taliban fought the US and they've just celebrated their anniversary of taking over Afghanistan, they sure didn't have F-15s.  Trump didn't make these threats against people who criticized him, that's how a legitimate POTUS operates.

You realize that all they need to do is shoot Biden and blame the American people and that'll be that.  Guns will be banned, tyranny will be absolute and they've been indoctrinating the military with this nonsense so they'll have cannon fodder to work with.  It's not like there's be any further elections to worry about.
