It's debatable what Dick Cheney actually stood for.  I'm beginning to suspect most known Republicans of doing what leftists want.  It is possible that they had no idea they were doing this and that's an example of individual decision-making which only God can judge.  I'm skeptical about actually blaming Dick Cheney or the rest - less-so on John McCain and Mitt Romney - but I do tend to side with people like Cheney because of the impossible decisions that had to be made after 9/11.

This has been in the news for the last several days, even I've heard about it.  First of all, there's no reason to think it wasn't ordered by the government, or at least they have a role to protect Americans which they obviously won't do for a pipeline.  Second of all, I wonder if they wanted to make people panic about the rising prices.  There were gaslines and shortages in a number of states, similar to the nonsense last year about toilet paper and such.

Third of all, I wonder if there's something more going on because Colonial went ahead and paid a $5 f*ing million dollar ransom.  That isn't going to discourage future hackers, why would they think it would?  Is this just a way to scam more money for government projects?  They're not remotely interested in paying off the ransom because "this is a private sector decision" according to White House officials?  What other things to private sector businesses get to do where the government t\doesn't even comment, much less get involved whether or not they're invited?  Biden Himself said "I have no comment" on this and when does he ever shut up?  He could have said "If you pay the ransom, you ain't black!"
