I don't really think there's much more to this, no communist has ever opposed their masters getting to live in a mansion and as far as I know, no communist who lives in a mansion has ever had to explain their decision, much less defend it against their serfs.

There are stories coming out that leftists are worried about the stolen election being recounted.  I don't think there'll be a problem, they can steal it again.  They'll steal it next time too, assuming they'll permit elections.  It's possible that Chinese officials are scaring them, that would explain a lot.
