He doesn't want to be on the same side as Putin and Dick Cheney?  Can we all assume that he really does, he just doesn't want to get involved in public?  This was an official statement from his office, so it's at least slightly more-likely to his actual viewpoint and not just something his daughter passes along like Liz Cheney did.

I assume he's with the RINOs, but looking at the comments just pushes me more to support GWB than anything else, pushing him as a "war monger" and nazi and everything else that was boring 20 years ago. These critics are behind the time for leftists and yet they claim to be Trump supporters, making it look much more like a mess than Bush was responsible for.  Not sure why Trump would be part of this either, but he can't win without these people, so what do you do with that?

I still avoid 9/11 conspiracy theories, mine go more towards the idea that it was about promoting the *woke* agenda, which Obama was the the point man for.  Bill Clinton had gotten that started but Hillary was to incompetent to push that farther.  It's the sort of job you need a man for, but the *woke* fundamentally oppose that, which just causes more problems.  So it's understandable that GWB wouldn't be part of that and for convenience, I'll give him credit for that rather than look for a reason to attack him.

City councils will soon ban citizens from coming to these meetings.  Blacks are used to rich and powerful people banning them from government, so they can't complain, and the illegal immigrants don't even know there are city council meetings, so that'll make things easier.  If you're in charge of replacing your voters, what else would you do?

And this is just two cities.  It's happening a lot more places and not just in the US.  They must have known this was going to happen, that's why they're not even bothering to help their citizens.  Chicago is $235 million in debt but they plan to spend $400 million on illegals because there's no other priority.  They might as well cancel the elections so they can do what they want without complaints.

Either way, this is not going to work out well for them.  The citizens are ready to revolt.  They already have all the excuse they need just from these illegal invaders and the elites who brought them in.  There's the economy, the crime, the *woke* agenda, the wars we're being dragged into.  Anyone gang who wants to take over the city could get rid of them with plenty of public support.

Pretend for the sake of argument this is a good idea, it's not going to help.  Trump doesn't need to do any practicing, he just needs to go in like he does everywhere else.  If you like or hate Trump, here's more of that.  If you're iffy, you'll be won over by seeing the comparison of someone who needs all this practice, after what happened barely two months ago.  Meanwhile Harris will have nothing to work with any time Trump says something she hadn't been trained for.

They're too far along for any replacement, they're stuck with her.  That's one thing when you promise 'til death do us part,' but that's not the case with these people.  Their only hope is that Trump is a disaster (possible but not likely) or that they just go ahead and cancel the election.

Since the *woke* agenda is the same things as DEI - have you ever heard from anyone who supports one but opposes the other? - it's clear the point is to show that it's so much better than everything that's ever been done before.  Problem is, they don't have any victories to point to.  Giving elites more money and power isn't some brand new achievement and everything else comes from that, that they'll jail you if you disagree.  Harris is going to do that but she can't *say* she's going to do that, so what else is there?

I'm not sure which would be worse, if Harris skips the debate or if the people in charge go through with it.  If they go through with it, they have the same problem they had with Biden where they couldn't keep the incompetence hidden any more.  But if she calls in sick, then they look like wusses.  Actual leaders don't get to do that and she's never proven she can lead in the first place.  With everything else going wrong, you really need to go through with what you claimed you can do and agreed to do and are trying to win votes from doing.

But that's leftism, that's why it's never been done before so this is something totally new.

They protested before after the stolen elections.  That was a bit hopeful, but it didn't work out.  I assume this is a follow-up, although the specific reason is about the government censorship of twitter.  This was totally supported by the US government because "disinformation" must be banned.  Isn't it odd how leftists never support freedom of speech after they get the authority to decide and cancel "disinformation"?  I mean, just out of novelty, some tyrant could shrug and say 'nah, they've got the right to speak.'

As always, I'm not optimistic.  At this point, I don't see it working out unless people in the government get tired of this, which is possible but seems unlikely.  I very much hope I'm wrong about this.  The sheer number of people they'd need to oppress must be bothering most of them and if such complete sociopathy would be interfering with decision-making anyway.

I also wonder how effective the government and their leftist allies have been about creating their own self-contained social media.  This happened before the internet existed - Eastern Europe, as an example - but the point is they need to eliminate anything else, which doesn't work.  The underground will pass along information, trustworthy or not.  But it's startling how little the leftist sites I see have any interaction with anything outside their bubble, and I think it is sensible to acknowledge that it's what I might be doing too.

I certainly spend very little time on leftist sites, but that's the way the news cycle works.  What am I told that's accurate?  How much of what I believe is accurate?  At least on the internet, people can have completely opposing viewpoints and still *appear* to be well-informed.  But that doesn't translate to real life and we're starting to see it play out on streets all around the world.  But one side opposes free speech.

This is only interesting for novelty, it would be a bit better if it was an actual rally.  It's possible Trump will be there, which is also nice.  But the main appeal is that leftist family members are supporting Trump, which gets no media attention compared to so-called right-wing family members who don't.  Who would represent leftism better than the Kennedy family, so of course they oppose him *and* RFK Jr.

Otherwise, it's just another example of people who are supposed to be leftists but they've finally had enough of what our tyrants are imposing, and Newsom's relatives would have a more up-front view of that than most.  So would Nancy Pelosi's relatives, but anyway...

But it's happening in California, which has one of the established voter-theft systems imaginable, and they've got all these illegal immigrants to seal the deal, yet Trump is still making inroads.  We're at the point where most people see what's going on and want nothing to do with it, even those who worked to make this happen.  I still think the rulers have plans to suppress all resistance, but this sort of thing does provide a glimmer of hope that they can't win in the end.
