Well isn't that convenient.  Gotta keep it in the family I guess.  I'd be fine with a law that forbids any family member from following a relative's government job, or at least has a 25-year gap.  We really need to ban things like Debbie Dingle (D-MI) who's been in the House since 2015, replacing her husband who had been there since 1955 [!] who had replaced his father who had been there since 1933.  You can include Rand Paul as another example and there are probably more.

Of course Trump supported installing the sister.  From his perspective, it makes sense, she'll probably be an easy vote to win, if the Senate ever actually needs to vote on anything.  There's no way she could turn out to be a RINO.  Of course she's only *temporary,* wink wink.

Trump has also made a point of saying that the two of them spoke just a few minutes before Graham died.  Graham probably had a wife or a nurse around so that probably wasn't the last time he spoke to anybody but it's also possible he didn't say much of anything, thinking about whatever he and Trump had said.  Interesting timing.  Could the discussion have been stressful?  Trump's the one so many people want dead, maybe there's a way to pass that off to someone else.  It probably gives Trump another reason to think about his own mortality and at his age, I'm sure he thinks of that a lot.

There's no reason to think this is true, there have also been reports that he died in one of the attacks.  I think Israel would be more likely to spread lies about this guy than to install him in power.  But the reason this stood out to me is that the IRGC arresting the guy is entirely believable.  No idea why, maybe he's a threat, maybe they call him a threat as an excuse to dump him but I think whoever's left in Iranian leadership is desperate.  If Ahmadinejad is still alive, he might look for a chance to regain power.  He has made public criticisms about the government - very few, not particularly relevant - and was not a religous leader so he has incentive.

The US is still hitting Iran, reportedly we're on the third night in a row, fifth time in the last week.  We're at a point where this needs to be finished.  We saw this with the Taliban, able to fight Russia for a decade and the US for a couple more.  If the mullahs haven't totally surrendered at this point, they need to be erased and if you're not willing to do that, they will declare victory.  Time is on their side, not Trump's.

Trump intends to give a speech on Thursday covering this.  He also says we'll be controlling the Strait and imposing a toll on ships going through.  We should be the world policeman, which means letting people go about their business.  Adding this toll is just making things worse and that's not counting that the price will be given to the customer.  Trump has shown restraint, there are other countries involved besides the US and Iran but this needs to end.  He has formally informed Congress that the conflict has restarted so he gets another 60 days.

This is something that's going to be pushed.  These judges are just letting murderers go free.  I'm not even sure they're basing it on skin color or political values, it just looks more like they don't want murderers punished and the rest is just an excuse to go with that.  But we're at a point where we've had enough of it.  We are getting close to vigilantism just because we can't put up with this any longer.

There's several possible reasons this happened but that was my first reaction, someone was just tired of the current judges and managed to get enough bribes into this jail to get rid of this guy permanently.  Maybe it was about gangs, maybe he just pissed off the wrong person, but there's just no reason for this.  The left claims to want "population reduction," so here you go.

The judiciary needs to be dealt with.  Maybe that's what Trump 2.0 is waiting for the mid-terms.  This is one of the most irritating things about him, there's so much that needs to be fixed that the biggest worry is that we'll get to 2028 and won't even have a good sign of what needs to be done, much less any way to fix it.  I really want to think they have a plan and it's still on schedule but there's not even evidence of that.  The left is trying to get to vigilantism, we're going to need to fight back.
