□ [“James Carville Admits Left Is Losing ‘War’ on Voter ID – Urges Party to Cave and Surrender"]

I notice I've been paying more attention to Carville's idiotic comments in the last couple years than, well, more than I ever have before.  Occassionally he makes sense in a 'broken clock' sort of way and just seems so irritating about it that I cannot fathom why the party still keeps him around.  Here he's citing polls where people who support voter ID vastly outnumber those who don't.  I assume he trusts polls far more than I do but if that's what you listen to then yes, it is a very sensible suggestion for the party.

In April 2024, he was complaining about young voters running away from the party.  In May he complained about party messaging.  In June he worried that Biden was losing blacks, hispanics and men.  After the election he bitched about the snot-nosed young progressives in the Harris campaign and demanded an audit.  To my knowledge he's never explained why he insisted before the election that she'd win easily.

In January of 2025, he decided no one wants to hear from Biden again.  On February 1, he said Harris couldn't put together a sentence.  On February 23, he said the White House was collapsing.  “It’s going to be easy pickings here in six weeks.  Just lay back.  We’re in the midst of a collapse.  It’s over.”  Hasn't brought that up again either.  But on April 5 he said those who work for Trump are like nazi collaborators.

On April 11, he said it was totally unnecessary to have proof of citizenship to vote.  On April 17 he said far-leftists should leave the party, they were driving voters away.  He was mainly talking about the brief DNC vice-chair David Hogg but we can now see the wider scale of this issue.  In May he attacked Hogg and Ilhan Omar for the same reason.  In June he said Jews wouldn't want to be in a party of anti-Jews.  In July he said Trump would steal the 2026 mid-terms and also that the Democrat party was a "cracked-out clown car."  In August he railed against them some ore.  In October he fantasized about putting Trump and his "collaborators" in prison outfits and marching them down the streets, then he cried on Jen Psaki's podcast.

I'd swear I've covered him in 2026 but can't find an immediate example.  The point is all of a sudden he's gone back to sounding coherent.  I get the impression that because of his status, he saw the purge going on in the party first-hand and it made him even more lunatic than usual.  I suppose if there's a reason to justify covering him, here it is.  This is a high-level hanger-on finally seeing that he spent his life working towards this disaster and still refuses to accept it.

This isn't just about these two groups, it's covering the different groups, along with unions, in different regions, or "states" as some people call them.  It changes who has more influence in which elections and where.  The main example is that blacks are mostly not leftist but they love welfare and a lot of them love abortion.  But they also vote as a unanimous group, hispanics don't.  Then there's the unions who are more about economic issues in different industries.

This is a natural part of politics, like it or not, and will never go away.  But the problem is the 'victim' mentality as the basis for leftism means each group demands more authority.  This means every other group has less authority and contradicts the whole concept of "equality."  Notice that we haven't heard Democrats demand that for a few years.

It's just a fundamental problem with collectivism.  You have to be in a group and that means you'll treat your group as more important than other groups.  The only way to get around that is to have one group of everybody.  Even a dozen people are going to need someone in charge.  Expand that to a hundred, a thousand, a million, a hundred million and pretend they're all the same?  It's why the best forms of governance are where the people in charge have as little interference as possible on everyone else.  But that's not how a political party operates.

Then there's the difference between locations.  This is probably relevant everywhere but it becomes more obvious in a place as large as the US where states are different.  Each one has a different environment, different people live there and its own history.  That's not counting the different laws and official policies they can impose.  Then there's the fact that someone who thinks they can be POTUS needs to connect to a large number of people in a large number of different states.  Even if the end results are basically the same - red and blue states - they each come to their conclusion in different ways through different people.

It's all alleged.  I haven't been following this story but I have been thinking of how this is part of the war.  For convenience I'll assume China is behind this but it could be anybody, foreign or domestic.  There's a reason the left has been demanding Trump be assassinated for months now and aren't even bothering to hide it.  The Secret Service is supposed to be the people who prevent this from happening or they could be the ones who make it happen.

I assume none of the accurate details are being given precisely so none of us can use them to try to kill anyone.  But that poses the question why is the public being told anything about this?  I don't know but I also assume that's why it's part of the war.  Each side - or every side - putting out what they can to defeat the enemy.  I suspect it's related to Trump's recent comment about China interfering in the 2020 elections but it's not that big a deal, we do the same to them.  You don't think we'd want the ability to take out Xi whenever we want?  Or Putin, Maduro, etc?

I can only speculate on what they'd have to deal with.  They would need access to lots of resources, they have several dozen offices around the country and more elsewhere in the world.  What do they do there?  No idea but they must be overseeing some intelligence work and checking out threats.  Anyway this must be one of the places this war is taking place.  We do not know how much influence our enemies have on these agents.  They probably don't know either, it would be a 'need to know' sort of thing.

I want to joke about how they're acting more like Ukraine which makes sense, they were both on the same side in World War II.  But is just looking like the 20th Century Germans, or Russians of the same era, are the ones who really won those wars.  We're seeing this happen as they go immediately to banning political parties, media, people they don't like.  It happens elsewhere too, Democrats who promise to put MAGA in labor camps if they ever regain power.

Even worse, how much of this is also being pushed by their new population from the Middle East?  Most immigrants are bringing their own culture with them.  They aren't changing to be part of yours and they don't come from countries with much support for freedom.  I've also started seeing this as one of the most important aspects of leftism, pushing the infidel to this form of mass self-destruction so they can take over.  Then American leftists say we should be more like Europe and doesn't that explain the last twenty or thirty years?  Or longer, Sayyid Qutb published a lot of books between 1932 and 1964.

So this might have been pushed for quite a while in a number of ways.  It was reinforced by the EU where decisions can be made without the public having a say.  This just reinforces more leftism which makes everything worse and every thing repeats else.  More immigrants are brought in and the rulers push more leftism to ignore that.  The US already defends Europe so they don't need to think about that.  This could explain a lot.
