There's no mention on why.  Iran says it's agressive.  This was in  the Caspian Sea so it wasn't a battle in the Strait.  Iran is being nuts, they threatened the UK a couple days ago.  So that would make sense but this is the opposite.  Why does Ukraine have a reason to attack yet-another country?

Ukraine has fired another general and there's still protests against the defense minister being fired.  That's what looks bad about this.  Whatever problems the Ukraine military leadership is having, someone is trying to open up a new front against the same country the US is currently fighting.  That's like they're trying to get us involved in their war - more than we already are, dammit - and it's the nuclear power leftists hate who's also Iran's ally.

Russia is still hitting across Ukraine, Kiev, Odessa, all of that.  But the US is also hitting Iran.  I think we've taken a couple days off but otherwise we've been doing that for a couple weeks now.  This just looks bad, I don't see any way this works out for anybody.  I just have to hope it's fake news.

Katz is a strategist who's barely 26 years old and works in NYC for Mandani.  Just putting someone like that in any position of authority for this party is a horrible idea.  There's not getting in the way of an enemy making their own mistakes, then there's 'oh my fricking god, what are you doing to yourself???'

Becasue you know that everybody these people are promoting, every candidate will be just like Platner.  And none of them are getting background checks about obvious problems they're bringing in.  Even if half of them get taken down, the other half are still there.  You could say it's the political equivalent of suicide bombing.

I'm blanking on if there's a specific term for this, Katz isn't lying so much as he's admitting that the truth isn't relevant.  The problems with Platner aren't really relevant to what they were trying to do.  That applies to all the other candidates they're pushing, they'll just ignore it and keep pushing forward.  The left always demands a movement like this to follow so here's the new one.

I'll stay pessimistic and continue to worry that they'll succeed this time.  There are some Democrats speaking out against this insanity but very few, all things considered.  Hopefully the rest are just staying quiet and will not comply but there's no reason to count on that.  These people need to be taken out permanently.

Then there's the leaders of the party.  Ken Martin is the chairman and he's always come across as a puppet.  He's the public figure who gets all the blame, the ones who actually make decisions stay private.  This is reported by the New York Times so of course it's an official statment, he's worried about being overthrown.  This is probably about letting people know he will be removed and his replacement will ignore all the problems, they need to 'forget the past' or something to that effect.

That's a regular leftist problem, the need to ignore the past, except when they use it as a weapon against someone they don't like.  It's easy to find examples of this, the obvious ones I think of is how they spent years saying how great Biden was and then all of a sudden he gets removed from the 2024 campaign and no one had the slightest curiousity about how they'd gotten so far if he was in that condition.  They were too busy celebrating how great Harris was and to this day they've never thought of any mistake she made at any point in her career.

Then there's more ready to come out.  I can't make any guesses on this, party insiders attacking the people in charge.  No idea to know how much of what any of them say is true and that includes the one doing the exposing.  It's believable but these are people surrounded by their own insanity.  I'm guessing the Trump administration intends to have this come to a header before the mid-terms but I can't imagine what's going to happen.

I guess this is where my attention is going tonight.  Doing a tv interview, they went through a list of things and asked if DSA was for or against them, she said they supported all of them.

"Abolish the Senate?"
"Replace the presidency and Supreme Court as we now know them?"
"Abolish ICE?"
"Abolish borders and give amnesty to anyone in the U.S. illegally?"
"Defund the Pentagon?"
"Abolish prisons, at least in large part?"
"Government or public ownership of most large corporations?"

'Yes' for all of them.  There is no way this isn't treason.  This is dismantling the nation and expecting to replace it with their own thing.  Notice no one asks how they're going to handle free elections when they're in charge.  Or just if people will be permitted to disagree the way they're allowed to do right now.  They see no way this could go wrong.

We cannot co-exist with these people.  But saying that, there's the obvious contradiction that we already do.  So what's going to happen and when?  I don't know if we can hold on until the mid-terms but maybe it's about whichever side loses is going to start burning things down.  It's just the "phoney war" now, the war is on, the battles just haven't started yet.  It still seems strange, these people aren't capable of fighting, how will this work?
