□ [“Chicago Cubs Fan Smacks Young Man Upside Head for Refusing to Stand for National Anthem"]

Well this works as a feel-good story.  Even with the singers of this anthem getting worse as the tune went on, it's basically good for everyone involved.  The basic story is just what the headline says but there was a little more to it.  The kid was smacked just as you can expect and he got a bit defensive but stood up and at least behaved well for the rest of the video, regardless of whatever he was actually thinking.  The report says the Cubs contacted him afterwards and he said everything had been resolved.

It's one of those things where you're almost glad someone did something wrong - not standing up for the national anthem - because it got fixed.  When I saw the headline, my first thought was that someone was pushing for nationalism, which we need more of these days.  So it was already a feel-good story.  But my second thought was what this suggests about the people who would go to a baseball game, most of them probably aren't die-hard leftists.  It's not even because they're paying money to watch a big corporation and their highly-paid athletes, it's just because they have other things to be interested in besides the 'revolution.'

My third thought was to assume the kid is leftist and the contradiction of those beliefs here.  The collective stands up for the anthem, how come you suddenly get to be an individual?  Collectivist leaders who expect you to stand aren't just going to shrug and let you do your own thing.  So when I got around to watching the video, I noticed it worked well for everybody.  He's not whining or screaming, it's not worth fighting over, it's part of being on a team, going along with the others.

I am not a sports fan but I do know that athletics prioritize individual ability and responsibility which can be expanded into team sports.  However much of a leftist this kid might be, he was obviously able to realize that.  It's a guy thing, fix the problem and move on.  I don't know why anybody would be a Cubs fan but that's their problem.

□ [“Trump Will Talk To China About 2020 Election Interference and Foreign Influence Campaign"]

This is specifically about China stealing the data of 220 million voters in 2020.  He's not making a big deal out of it, saying "it took place a long time ago" and adding that we do things to China too.  I'm pretty sure we don't affect their elections but he is making the point that this is part of the war and everybody does it, whatever "it" happens to be.  As the saying goes, the enemy gets a vote too.

But there's also more coming out about fake votes, those responsible are arguing against each other.  The New Jersey governor blamed the software at the Motor Vehicle System for getting 6600 non-citizens added to the voting roster.  Investigations have started on this but now IDEMIA, the company that produced the software, says their system does not register people to vote, it was the NJ State Department Division of Elections who decides that based on the information transferred to them on the system.  This just got more complicated.

More examples are coming out.  In Connecticut, Democrats have been caught registering people to vote and lying about being citizens.  There's also a national service called SAVE which checks immigration and citizen status, 24 states belong to Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), a non-profit group which specifically refuses to be part of SAVE.

I think Democrats are going to panic over this.  CNN just reported on this, using reporter Jake Tapper who was on this network reporting that any claims of voter fraud were made-up, it never happened.  Trump just won a case in appeals court about mail-in ballots for federal elections, each state must present a list of mail-voters and each ballot envelope must have a bar code for tracking.

I think their reaction will be similar to the New Jersey governor's immediate reaction to that fraud.  There's a lot of people whose job involves preventing this sort of thing.  Now evidence is coming out that they knew about it and did nothing.  I'm also wondering if there are standard precedures when a new election cycle approaches, just to make sure everything works properly.  So this would be the first time anybody really challenged it.  A lot of those people might want to betray others to save themselves.

□ [“Trump Says US Will Destroy One Bridge or Power Plant 'Any Time Iran Shoots at a Ship'”]

As irritated as I am that Trump hasn't brought this to a conclusion a long time ago and as many problems as I have with this approach...  Wait, where was I?  Oh yeah, I still think this is the best option.  We're on Day 12 of hitting Iran, taking out drone storage and aircraft hangers.  Iran threatens to hit back but they really don't have anything to work with.

But that's the down side, Muslims are really good at holding out even in the worst of situations like this.  Trump is on the clock, they aren't.  I'm trying to remember if I said something about him needing to finish this off by the end of the week or month, whatever it is, he's already passed it.  There's no reason to think the mullahs are going to cave in, there's no reason to expect Iranians to rebel and over throw them and we still don't want troops on the ground so just bomb them out of existance.

Their Houthi allies are also attacking ships in the Strait.  It sounds like Trump's not counting them as something to respond to.  That's understandable but it also shows the extra problems being caused as this continues.  They just attacked a Saudi ship and it occured to me, have we seen any evidence that the other Muslim nations have a functioning military?  I'm pretty sure they've used drones or missiles a few times but other than that, what have they really contributed here?  A place for our ships and fighters to land?

□ [“Mamdani Finally Admits He Can’t Arrest Bibi"]

I'm guessing this wasn't just something he decided to do.  National leaders don't just show up, their people and their security are there in advance to check things out.  They'd be in touch with the State Department in preperation for a visit to a violent city.  Hey, here's someone in charge of a lot of men with guns who plans to go after this leader, maybe we should do something about it.

So he's already been investigated and told that he must retract his demands immediately.  He thinks he works for the ICC which is against the law and he can be punished for that right now.  Mamdani grew up very priviledged where those in charge could send out a private army to get people they don't like.  That's how he thinks things work.

His speech mentions that he had his lawyers looking into how they could handle arresting Bibi.  The fact that his lawyers didn't just tell him right away that was completely illegal shows which side they're on, which is probably how they got hired.  I'd have to flip a coin to guess on if they even told him it wasn't legal.  Maybe they thought they'd be fired if they informed him of the truth, maybe they told him and he was going to go through with it anyway until the state and federal governments stepped in.

At the moment I would say this is the central point of the battle for nationalism, which the left has always wanted to erase.  I think more than anything, that's why Jews and Israel have always been hated, because more than anything that's where the concept was born.  Adam and Eve to the kids, the tribes, the religion and the nation.  Jews don't really fall into those categories specifically but that's the way God made them and that's why a lot of people hate them.  Mamdani's just following out his programing.
