I still think it's a 50-50 chance whether McConnell is dead or just in such lousy shape that any public appearance would get him immediately removed from office.  Also keep in mind that every day that passes increases the odds that he's dead.  So given that, how does his staff not see how bad this looks to the rest of the world?  He was discharged from the hospital a few days ago but is still kept hidden.  There's only one way this can end and it's not going to be with McConnell showing up all nice and healthy.  They're going to be blamed for letting this happen.

Looking up my coverage of McConnell over the years, there's no much even as the Senate leader, majority or minority.  And I started noticing the public reports of his injuries, a concussion at a private dinner in March 2023, a few days later it was revealed he had broken some ribs in that fall.  In April he announced his retirement although he'd still stay in the Senate with Dianne Feinstein.  In July 2023 he froze for a moment while making a speech.  In August he froze up again.  In September GOP Senators had a meeting about his 'seizures.'  In December 2024, he fell during a Senate lunch and injured his head.  In February 2025, he fell down the stairs.  In March and May, he looked lousy in public.  In October, he fell down trying to get away from a reported and then two months ago, he was sent to the emergency room.

There's also all the times he was actively working against Trump as a member of the uniparty.  In 2024, he waited to endorse Trump until the very end of the primaries, then made sure to get control over all the committees on federal spending and bureaucrats to stop him.  He's worked a lot harder to defend Ukraine than he has to defend Americans but is also on the board of directors for a non-profit, Rhode Island Crossroads, which gets a lot of federal funding.  How convenient.  No wonder he doesn't want to leave.

In theory I'd say the Senate should start pushing the McConnell Retirement Act, kicking out old feeble senators like this.  But unfortunately nobody would vote for it, they all expect to be in that same position, rich and helpless and still in office.  Assuming he was telling the truth, McConnell's not running for re-election this year but this is just ridiculous.

Making a list of anything in DC Trump has fixed.  This is what she's thinking about first?  Makes me wonder what cult symbols Trump has removed from DC in the last couple years.  And the way she just assumes 'her people' will be in charge, i.e. she'll be in charge, there's not the slightest worry about having to win any future elections.  Absolute power is literally right in front of them, nothing can go wrong.

But that does seem to be about all the left has at the moment.  It occured to me today that they haven't had any major protests this summer, no 'everyone goes on strike,' none of that.  Before writing this, I happened to see a post on social media from a local protester.  He went out today, no one else, and only for the legal minimum time, a half-hour.  An old white guy, nothing better to do I guess, but that's what protesting is nowadays.

The obvious reason is they aren't being funded by USAID or any of the other non-profits that smuggled taxpayer money.  It also shows their lack of devotion to the cause, Hillary's not leading any protests either.  They can't even attract anybody who agrees with them.  I go back and forth on what it means that Hillary's the one doing this.  She needs to claim she's popular for anybody other than rich white leftists, or that anyone cares what she says.  Or she could believe that she is popular and will be the last to realize she's ignored.  The media will keep pushing her, just as they have for the last 35 years, so they've got that illusion to work with.  But any day we'll see the "Clinton" brand just vanish.

Freezing eggs just sounds creepy and I haven't focused on that, I'm more interested in the very rich "fiance" that suddenly she's separated from.  I don't think they've split up, to the extent they ever had a real relationship.  She was giving him investment advice and could hide that because they weren't married after four years of pretending to be engaged.  They can still do that now and just hide it a bit more because she's complaining about the rich and she'll still have access to massive wealth.  He can still use her to funnel money to leftist causes.  So nothing has really changed.

They're all running into these problems.  As they get close to the elections, they need to at least pretend to be patriotic.  They never get around to describing how and why their beliefs have changed, they just expect everyone to believe they've done a 180 on the leftist beliefs that got them this far.  And of course their voters will believe it without hesitation.  El-Sayed even claimed that in football, "racism, misogyny, and homophobia were lingua franca."  He thinks deleting these videos is the same thing as "I never ever said that!"

They'll need to have really good voter fraud to win much of anything.  El-Sayed despites the popular state landmark, Mackinac Island.  AOC is getting her eggs frozen because we have only a few years left to save the planet from global warming.  But I gotta admit, this has worked pretty well for Democrats for decades so they have no reason to quit now.

The point is that these are moves being made to keep him safe from Iranian assassination threats.  As always, I don't know if we can trust any of the details although this said the event was on July 8 so a little time has passed, maybe that makes it more accurate.  This was the NATO summit in Turkey so it might be quite relevant but I still don't get why this would ever be public.  It just comes off like putting on a show.

Iran and their allies are definitely trying something.  They're pushing their leftist allies to crave death and even get the trans community to help.  An odd sidebar to this is that even devoted leftists are being pushed away by all the Jew-hatred.  It's naturally for Muslim-run organizations but they didn't expact that in DSA and their political candidates.  The Michigan Attorney General and an MSNBC reporter famous enough that even I've heard of him have both announced that they're repulsed from the party by this.  This is how the Muslim world has been pushing its way through leftism and western civilization.

It's too big to measure but this really does look like some major conflicts are being tied together here, with Islam, Israel, the left, nationalism and more.  I see that with Democrats looking like they're at a loss of what to do, predicting their victory in a couple months is all they can come up with.  Meanwhile Iran doesn't have anything to fight Trump with.  The whole world is burning, economically or with war, A.I. is looming and that's just the stuff that comes to mind at the minute.  And all of it is centered on Orange Man.
