You can do that?  It seems like all he'd need to do is specify where his primary residence is, is it in the state he was elected in where you're legally required to be a resident to be elected or the state he said was his primary residence because it makes mortgages cheaper for the homes you buy?  One simple answer there would solve all these problems, but here he is asking his allies for money.  He's not poor, why does he need other people to pay for his problems?  Oh right, he's a Democrat in Congress from whatever state he self-identifies with at the moment.

There seems to be quite a bit of this.  Federal Reserve Governor Lisa D. Cook had similar actions and is under investigation.  As a member of the Federal Reserve Board since 2022, apparently she's legally required to live in DC, but has been buying property in Michigan and Georgia, getting mortgages for the residents of those states.  New York Attorney General Letitia James has already been under investigation for false claims about properties she owns.

Yet they said 'the law applies to everyone' when they went after Trump for this.  What's changed?  I'm deliberately not looking up the specifics, but to get loans and/or mortgages, Trump made technically false claims about his properties.  He repaid whatever it was but, according to Democrats, you must be punished for that.  Trump or his supporters made the point that 'everybody does this!' but that didn't matter.  So here you are.

I don't remember and won't bother checking if the case against Trump went anywhere or if it was just placed on hold after it failed to prevent him from winning the presidency.  Of course these Democrats doing the same thing won't remotely get the same attention for it, even though 'the law applies to everybody.'  But, as a white male, Schiff should really be answering these questions in public instead of begging other people to fund his defense.  Unfortunately even California's not going to require him to obey the law.

Well there are *some* negros that don't need to be treated equally by Democrats.  But this could explain why they're mostly ignoring this, at least to the extent they aren't openly opposed to it.  How do you explain to your devoted voter base that they're wrong for wanting to be safe?  But that said, the master is going to need to say something or there's gonna be trouble.

I don't know if these are brand-new or if this has been happening for several days, but I've been wondering when people with cameras were going to start asking people in DC what they think of this.  I mean going around the streets and asking, not just inviting a safely obedient servant to join you in your studio and broadcast to the world how he's against Trump.  But that would be why the official media is ignoring this.

I've also wondered how long it will last.  From Vance's statements, it sounds like it can go on for 30 days, then it'll need Congressional approval.  I definitely think it'll need to go on longer, I'm sure Republicans will vote for that, but then we'll get to see where Democrats stand.  That could be hilarious, how many will actually speak out and say they want the crime back?

There also must be an increasing number of people in other cities willing to speak out and ask why Trump can take care of this in a few weeks and Democrats have just made things worse for years.  Trump's also been dealing with the wars and the border and the economy.  Their leaders focused on gender pronouns and increasing taxes but ignored the murder and rape because priorities!!!

This was done about the time of his interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur who said Biden was too senile to prosecute for anything.  I wonder if there's anything official or unofficial about doing interviews like this during an investigation.  Maybe it was just whoever's in charge deciding that Biden needed to prove he was up to the job.  Which he wasn't, but they'd cover that up.

Well putting it that way, wtf are these people thinking?  You've got to pretend someone is doing fine and then hide the results so you can justify keeping him in charge (nominally) and run for a re-election that he'd said he wasn't supposed to do and would eventually get kicked out of anyway.  It's very easy to see things that might go wrong on any step of the process.  It's even easier when there is no coherent process, wtf were they even trying to do here?

I'm not the first to point this out but this is why we keep assuming leftists have actual plans.  We've met enough of them in our lives to know that they aren't stupid enough to do this, so why do they do this?  You need to protect Biden, so you push him in public, so you ignore it, so you push him for re-election, so you replace him at the worse moment.  And this is just what we saw publicly, along with articles like this coming out a couple years later.  What were the leftist elites doing to each other about this just to get through each step?  This is why I assume they're all part of a demon-worshipping cult.  It just seems like the most likely explanation.

These *woke* businesses are just strange.  It's been a couple years since Bud Lite represented this movement going over the hill, as they paid a trans guy tons of money to convince people to avoid their beer.  All the customer wants is a cheap beer, they don't need these adds, but the company did it anyway and lost their place at the top of the market, along with all that precious store space.  By all accounts, they aren't getting it back, although it's rumored that they're trying to get Sydney Sweeney to do ads for them.

That should have been a valuable lesson for every business out there, don't piss off your customers.  Yet ever since then, every single months, another large corporation has decided to join in and they fail big-time.  At least it's understandable in Hollywood where they have to suck up to the self-absorbed activist celebrities they hire, but those businesses with a mostly working-class customer base, how can they still see this as inviting a disaster?

Just today there was news about the Cracker Barrel restaurant chain suddenly changing their old logo.  There's nothing about the new one that looks *woke* but it's still idiotic, what's the point of changing something that's worked so well for so long?  The people in charge always have the answer that they're trying to find a 'new' audience, which is what all the others said when they ditched their old audience and went broke as a result.

It would make sense if this all happened at the same time, or if the first one had been a success so the others followed that pattern.  But this is just one disjointed failure after another, like the business executives are doing everything they can to ignore what's happened to other businesses.  The phrase 'get woke, go broke' has been around for a few years for a reason, how is it possible to avoid learning from that and how did anyone who does that get put in charge of big business?

Obviously there's a lot of videos of blacks expressing support for this.  I've only seen a few but there are probably more from other cities like Chicago and Los Angeles who want the same thing.  The party is built on blacks - in more ways than one - and are now repulsing them by having no willingness to protect them from crime.

The rich people with armed guards say everything's fine, they're totally safe.  No one else thinks that but they aren't allowed to say so, not directly to these people.  It's being noticed that most of the people at these protests are white and old.  The majority of DC residents are black, why aren't any of them allowed to attend these rallies?

No idea how long it will take but at some point the elites just have to realize that their obsession with Trump is what's hurting them the most.  Trump doesn't have to lift a finger against them, at worst there's a snarky comment or an internet post, but they're losing any semblance of sanity.  Never seen anything like this, working through so many people, I can barely find the words to describe it, much less predict what's going to happen, but it looks like a very positive change.

You can quibble about this decision but at least the US has a long history of policing the whole landmass.  Other countries, other people, but it's still *our* America.  The Monroe Doctrine is over 200 years old and we've already had enough problems with places like Venezuela to be involved.  Venezuela has applied to membership in BRICS and is already allied with nations like China so there's probably more going on there anyway.

The DOJ has offered a $50 million reward for information leading to the "arrest" of Maduro.  I don't see how that can be anything other than an open bribe for any of his allies to turn on him.  Might need a little more negotiations so the traitor won't be killed himself, but we'll see how that works out.  It's South America, not like they don't do that sort of thing.

I'm sure few of us have any clue what sort of mess is going on down there.  Venezuela was ruled by leftist idol Hugo Chávez for over a decade.  He was replaced by his right-hand man who's been in power ever since.  There's the benefits of dictatorship, there's the worship from the left, there's the sales of oil attracting the rest of the world, there's the anti-US sentiment.  Then there's whatever else is going on in South America, which could be a big problem, especially since John Kerry said the Monroe Doctrine was over, several months after Chávez died.

I'm also wondering where Obama actually stands in the party anymore.  The fact that he lives with these people shows how far away he is from normal people, especially of his own race.  Without that, what can he actually do?  Nancy Pelosi is also at this party and, ever since she was the one who finally kicked Biden out, it's clear that she's one of the primary powerbrokers in the party.  Could she be going after Obama here?  Or could they be trying to unite against the Clintons and/or whatever remains of Biden's 'deep state' supporters?

I guess to the extent this 'bothers' me, it's about how disconnected they are even from their own kind.  They're not reporting what they're doing to keep their followers informed.  It doesn't look like they're even informing those followers who can at least be confident that 'they'll know what to do!'  Upper-classes should try to keep the lower-classes informed, but these rich elites will make all the decisions and not even be upfront about it.  It'll all come out from their staff later on.  This is all what the party is *supposed* to oppose and no one is remotely bothered by the contradiction.

Just some interviews with 1400+ undergraduates, hardly a clear pattern, but it works as a glimpse of the bigger picture.  And that is that most people really don't care about this *woke* garbage.  At most they'll just pretend to go along.  But to the left, being surrounded by people who agree with you is proof that you're right about everything.  And this is why college is an expensive mess.

There are professions such as medicine where college training is very important but otherwise it's gone way too far to promote itself, and attempt to brainwash everyone involved.  The more I think about it, the more it all comes across as cult-like behavior, including that it's about going after young people who no longer have to report to their parents.  It's understandable why Trump and DOGE found a lot of funding that could be cut.  Beyond that, it's fairly cheap to learn useful skills that pay you very well.  Many trades will pay you to learn on the job.

I'm doubtful about 88% though.  Just the number of young, vulnerable, easy-going idealists would be expected to be higher.  Maybe not 50% but probably closer than that, at least as far as saying they are.  The boys would want to find some chicks to bang, the girls would want to hang out with their cool friends and pop culture would be encouraging this at every step.  But this makes for a nice anecdote.

Well yes, both sides of the war have to agree on not fighting any more.  And don't forget Europe.  They've made it clear that they'll send in troops as soon as there's a ceasefire so Russia has no incentive to stop moving forward.  Given Zelensky's association with European elites, it's quite possible that they're really the ones who want the war and Zelensky's just following orders.  He doesn't have to answer to his people, he's following his masters.

Supposedly Russia has agreed to take less land which just doesn't sound like the Russia *I* know.  Frankly there's no incentive to give up the territory they've already taken and they will definitely keep a lot of that anyway because, you know, they've already won.  But Zelensky says they refuse to stop fighting until they have all their land back.  That not how wars work.

I get the impression that Russia saw no benefit for this summit but Putin was passing time.  And it looks like Trump is trying to find a way out of this.  He's definitely worked very hard to get both sides to the table but he seems to be aiming more at a point where he can say 'I tried everything, now you handle it yourself.'  At which point Ukraine and Europe would have no support from the US against Russia.  It's not like the EU has done anything in the last few years to make itself capable of fighting a war.

This happened today.  I would like to think Trump ripped them apart and told them to get the hell out of his office but I'm sure that didn't happen.  He did make a public statement before the meeting that Ukraine was not joining NATO or getting the Crimea back.  They lost the Crimea in 2014 so if that's a motivation to fight, it hasn't worked out very well.  And Europe shouldn't care either way, yet for some reason they do.

Possibly showing what mood they were in, earlier today, Ukraine hit a Russian pipeline that passed through western Ukraine to Hungary.  Hungary isn't happy about that and Ukraine doesn't care.  They are willing to damage a fellow NATO/EU member to keep this war going.  Or would if they had ever joined NATO and the EU.  Pretty sure these European leaders won't side with their long-time ally Hungary over the non-member Ukraine.  And these are the people you're willing to fight for?

So maybe this is going somewhere but if Trump isn't trying to get out of the mess entirely, he's just getting in deeper and deeper.  There's no way that's a good move.  It's why I think this is actually part of Russia's plan - and possibly BRICS - although it's certainly possible they're in as big a mess as everyone else.  But that's the nice thing about not caring what happens to Russia and Ukraine, it's a good reason to leave.  Amusingly, with all this, I haven't even mentioned what, if anything, the sanctions and tariffs are doing.

As always, the leftist media seems to be reporting how horrible this all was.  Like their masters, they've always supported the war and have unanimously opposed Russia.  I try not to be the type who says 'whatever the media supports, I'm against it' but they don't make it easy.  It would be nice to think that at some level this is a war against leftism and they're going to lose.

Obama even called these Democrats up a few days ago.  Probably passing along whatever the next step of the plan was, keeping them enthusiastic.  In one sense, the party is united, against America and everyone in it.  In another sense, they're all different groups of leftists who will eventually turn against each other.  The problem is that we don't know who's working with who.

But I see no reason to be optimistic about Texas.  Hopefully I'm wrong.  Most people don't give any thought to redistricting but I get the impression that if they thought about it, they wouldn't like the idea, so at least there's that.  This event has made more people think about this stuff.  That is a disadvantage Democrats have, these days whenever they pick a goal, a large majority opposes it.

In Rhode Island, the drunken assistant attorney general was stopped by cops and started insisting she was the actual attorney general so she was allowed to get away with this.  The Governor of Maryland just admitted that he was lying about getting a bronze star in the military.  That's not really something that you're supposed to be able to lie about but it's ok because he thought he was getting one so that explains that.

We know the left believes they're literally at war which gives them justification to do anything.  I suspect they have deliberately agreed that this is the case, it's not they all just woke up one morning and each came to this decision on their own.  But it's still unnerving just how they're all rushing to this mindset without any chance of success.  As the saying goes, "Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Poor Performance."  The left unanimously opposes that.

Still no clue how, but it's really starting to look like this was a deliberate plan by the Trump 2.0 administration, to push the left over the edge as quickly as possible.  Of course Trump has military experts on his side so they'd be able to work out a plan like this but it comes across as very spooky.  How many of these lunatics are out there and pass by us every day?  As Swalwell points out, they're going to get violent, they don't even need a reason.

The rant is mostly about Taylor Swift, which just seems unhealthy.  She's been aimed at teenage girls for her entire career.  But that also seems odd, given that she's in her mid-30s by now and usually young girls aren't supposed to be so obsessed with old hags like that.  I've given a lot of thought on how the music industry manufactures its stars for their target audience and although I still have no insight on that, it just looks suspicious that Comey would have the same obsession as young girls.

Of course if he had the same obsession as young boys, it would be even creepier, but that's still the point I've been trying to work out.  Comey is nominally a Republican (I think he's left the party in the last few years) and I've wondered if that's the real source of the uniparty.  They don't *have* to be gay, as long as they have the same interest in children.  That's always been a primary target for leftists whether or not they admit that's what they are.

The fact that he goes off on this long rant about Taylor, mixing it with his Trump-derangement, does come across as desperation.  Nothing better to do?  Nothing better to talk about?  Most 65 year old males don't feel the need to go on about what pop music they listen to, yet here he is.  Everything they believed in is falling apart so they're trying to find somewhere to hide, if only emotionally, some sort of 'comfort food' before the collapse.

This is another thing that Trump deserves unanimous credit for.  I don't know how much help he can really give because it's Mexico but this makes the point.  They are our neighbors and they do need a lot of help.  I haven't studied Mexican history so I'm not really sure how much they've ever been a really healthy society.  If the Aztecs were the peak of what they could do on their own, that's not a good sign, especially since Cortés could crush them with about a thousand Spaniards (and local allies who really hated the Aztecs.)

At a guess, I'll assume the Mexican government sees the problem.  Too many of their own officials work for the cartels so there's nothing they can do anything about it.  Trump is providing that assistance.  He's willing to use the military and other tools to wipe them out and provide Mexico with encouragement and inspiration.  They have a chance, that's a good thing.

Like it or not, it comes down to Mexico being one of our subordinate allies.  This means they've also been a target of our enemies around the world, as a convenient way to smuggle in troops, weapons, drugs, money, etc.  Liberals were fine with that, they always idealize the Aztecs for some reason and want to let them rule the American southwest.  So this is building up a defense against everything they bring in and hopefully Mexico will support that.

Something is ready to happen.  There's just no reason these states should be sending troops to DC to fight crime.  No idea what federal oversight the National Guard has but this does suggest that these states are getting prepared.  Do state governments have any form of 'embassy' in DC?  That would be something they'd send troops to protect.

Trump has been calling out Hillary, Obama and others for a couple weeks now.  There's more and more news about how they implemented Russiagate and various other scams.  Suddenly people are talking about all the money Congress makes from investing.  Bill and Hillary are already requested to speak to Congress about Jeffrey Epstein, Hillary even spoke out a week ago against sending National Guard troops to DC.  This continues to build.

So our elites seem to have found that a lot of their defense mechanisms aren't working.  I don't expect Congress to do much of anything, or courts, so it's not clear what the results will be.  But I think the leftist elites are very worried about something.  I don't recall if Trump said it personally or just his spokesmen, but he does seem to be going after the sources of this leftist tyranny, and that seems to be very effective.  My guess is that's what the National Guard is really getting involved for.  Maybe riots in DC, maybe something else.

This sort of abuse is happening way too often, we need to start going to immediate execution.  A one-year old beaten by a middle-aged woman who is given a low bond and immediately let loose.  This creature has no reason to live.  And that's not even getting into the question of this was her first time doing this sort of thing.

I'm debating whether I should really speculate on political reasons, or gender and skin color for that matter.  The kid was a white boy.  I'm fine with saying you should be shot, hung, guillotined, thrown off a cliff, etc. for doing that to any child regardless of gender or skin color.  What's her excuse.  [Note:  I do not support anyone being tortured to death for any reason.  The execution can be painful but it must be quick, just for decency.]

This is how you get vigilantes.  Given that our entire legal system seems to support child abuse, I'm actually surprised there aren't already vigilantes taking care of problems like this.  It would be an easy way to win support.  Since the government can't be trusted, what else are people going to do?  It's possible that the only thing that's stopping them so far is the realization of just how many people they'd need to take out permanently.  But unless something changes, that won't last much longer.

I wonder how long it will be before some Democrat mayor starts doing this.  Even now, we know they won't do it to help their citizens, it'll probably just put them on the fast track for the 2028 election.  But at some point it will be noticed that Trump is doing more to actually help poor people and blacks in a Democrat-run city than Democrats are.  And then they might start asking more questions about what Democrats are really into.

I do keep saying that I think Trump is doing too much right away, especially when we aren't seeing much in the way of concrete results, but this is a definite exception.  It will noticeably improve life in the city and provide an example for others to follow.  Even the media has to admit Americans support cutting down on crime.  I'm blanking on the term but this shows how Trump is shifting our collective mentality towards something more civilized and less leftist.  It should never have come to this but it's how Democrats wanted it.

They're even trying to file their idiotic lawsuits to somehow stop this.  AG Pam Bondi has appointed an 'emergency police commissioner' and a lawsuit has already been filed against that.  The judge sided with them and said she'd issue a restraining order of the DOJ didn't back down.  They'd rather stick with the dumb chick who doesn't even know what a 'chain of command' is.  Another lawsuit says this whole takeover is illegal and was given to a pet leftist judge.

Why does this look like some sort of scheme?  First of all, they specifically ignore all the other places Trump has helped bring peace to this year.  Those are all non-white countries so leftists don't care, but that still happened.  Why is it so important to ignore non-white people, especially when talking about a Nobel?

This is coming out just after Democrat leaders are all acting like bullies and thugs, saying how they're going to ignore all the rules and fight back.  The timing indicates that this is a plan they've all agreed to.  At this point I have to wonder if they talked to Putin and he promised to not end the war just to prevent Trump from getting a Nobel.  They would appreciate that.

I have still avoided looking at any article on the meeting itself, I'll wait for another day or two before seeing if it actually made any difference.  But it seems very strange that the left is so universally against peace and, more importantly, have nothing else going on in their lives that matters.  They can't talk about how safe from crime they've always been in DC or how prices are rising at that their local supermarkets or declaring their support for all those dozens of genders they believe in?

The down side is, being Trump, it's totally believable that he wants a Nobel.  I hope he doesn't really care either way but there's no reason to assume that.  I hope the committee avoids nominating him at all and deliberately picks some freaky leftist no one's ever heard of, just to show how worthless the award is.  We need to be getting rid of all these elitist left icons and cornerstones for their ideal society and the Nobel is probably one of the most famous of those.  At least one of the oldest.

I saw this story yesterday but it was one of the several articles about leftists being insane bullies, I didn't think much of it.  With a day or so, other people have responded with some interesting points.  How the f*ck did this guy get picked to be candidate for governor?  South Carolina had zero Republican governors between 1877 and 1975 but since them only two of the eight governors were Democrats and this is who they expect to reverse the trends?

He used racial slurs and compared himself positively to God and Superman.  By all accounts he was on a lot of drugs.  It's becoming more understandable why Democrats want him to win.  Isn't that what the party really stands for?  Well, in private sure, but he was doing this in public.  He's being charged with disorderly conduct so the party has already requested that he drop out of the race.  You expect me to believe that a misdemeanor is enough for that?

The more insane and drugged-up Democrats get, the more the party pushes them into higher office.  I'm probably exaggerating but the fact that this seems true all down the line shows that it's not far off.  Is it better if they keep it mostly in private?  That Nancy Pelosi is just drugged up to deal with old age, and Hillary to deal with health issues, and Kamala Harris to get through her daily sex-life?  The men are expected to obey without question but that means they'll need to release their energy somehow.  Just not in public.

Which shows how leftism is essentially a mental illness.  More than anything, that may be the reason Trump was able to win the first time and then voluntarily lost so that the left would think they had permanently taken over.  Collectively they're breaking themselves apart and have yet to even realize that.  This South Carolina candidate only became the official candidate last Monday and he's already freaking out like this.  That's how the party picks their best choices.

Oh really.  Why hasn't the other wars he's stopped enough for that?  She's attempting unsuccessfully to be snarky.  She's going after Trump as usual but it sounds like Putin is her real target.  She sneers that we've never seen Trump stand up to Putin and adds that her real goal is to not capitulate to him.

This is a set-up although it does come across as an old woman blathering.  Her campaign came up with the Russiagate nonsense so she's tied to that anyway.  Russia has also completely won the war so any ending will come across as "capitulation."  She already sold Russia all the US uranium, wasn't that enough "capitulation" for her?  Notice that she's not giving Ukrainians any say in whether the war should end.  That's the Hillary we know.

It might be interesting to look into what role the Clinton Foundation played in this war.  They're all about globalism - just as Russia was for most of the 20th century - so they'd be very willing to insert themselves into any place they think can be used to gain more power.  Ukraine was very useful for funneling and laundering money, so they'd be convenient allies for the leftist elites.  Russia and Ukraine have a thousand years of problems which only leftists would believe they can solve.  There could be a lot more going on than we've been told by leftist media.

Haven't seen any news about the meeting today, other than I think they did a press conference.  I doubt there's anything big coming out, at least not right away.  Everybody involved would probably just make generic hopeful statements, it'll be the next week or so to find out if it made any difference.  And we still get to wait for Trump to prosecute Hillary for anything.

This has suddenly started being reported.  Is it possible that some people have lost federal funding to keep reporting the opposite?  Or have they been ignoring Ukraine since the latest Israel war started and with the talks happening, they've finally bothered to look back and realized they're losing?  Or maybe Ukrainians are getting federal funding to stay quiet about it.

A couple days ago, it was reported that the US was in discussion with Russia to get their files on Lee Harvey Oswald.  This has been attempted several times in the last 60 years.  The article was incoherent so it's not always clear who was at fault and the readable parts aren't totally believable.  The CIA burned their copy of the files given at JFK's funeral?  Anyway it does sound like the sort of thing Trump would want to finally release, to the extent he's releasing everything else.

But this indicates that the negotiations aren't entirely about Ukraine.  They're going through a lot of other things worldwide.  Trump always struck me as someone who likes negotiating more than he cares about winning.  Of course this has given him lots of experience so he usually wins, but it's the back-and-forth that he really enjoys.  And there's a lot of mess to clean up, not just with Russia/Ukraine.

No way to know what these talks will lead to if things work out.  My hope is for the release of all the information and files we can get on everything.  Since Russia has full access to Ukraine files, they can add those too.  The real victory would be exposes.

This is what I mean about the leftists just losing all self-control.  Two editorials, about being disappointed in the military for not overthrowing Trump, and then a demand to get rid of the Constitution.  They don't admit it, it's just that the military is enforcing the law in DC, despite Trump citing a legal precedent.  The second editorial wants to abolish the Senate, the Electoral College and pack the courts.

Who is this supposed to win over?  The left already has a minority of voters and can't get more through the usual means of illegal immigration and reproduction.  The NYT has always been the official propaganda spokesman but this just seems desperate to the point of futility.  The fact that the first three words in the headline are "abolish the senate" just makes that classic movie line finally make sense.  Suddenly Palpatine returned.

They have so little clue what they're talking about that they won't even say they'd totally support Trump doing this.  If you really believe in this then that would be victory and Trump's in a position to do it now.  Instead this just poisons every leftist candidate, 'vote for me and I'll get rid of the Constitution!'  That's not a winning argument unless you're surrounded by men with guns, and these people don't believe in men or guns.

Newsom's press conference was supposed to make him look good, covering the redistricting he's going to do in California.  Seems iffy, the state has an independent committee to handle that and how are they going to prove it's independent if they just obey Newsom?  I think the voters might have to approve it for any other changes to be made.  I thought it was more complicated and there was no chance of it affecting elections before 2028 but I was misremembering what I had heard about New York.

Other Democrats were at this conference, including Adam Schiff.  They've obviously agreed that this is Civil War 2.0 and they won't do any actual fighting themselves, but they'll expect others to do it.  Wonder how much money they'll spend on all the different genders in their military forces.  But they need to be obsessed with Trump, as the speakers at this press conference are, otherwise they have nothing to unite them.

Meanwhile the Texas Democrats still haven't gone home.  They're still making demands.  Illinois also refuses to enforce Texas' arrest warrants on them.  They're getting to a point where states have to ignore the federal government, which contradicts what liberals claimed to believe in for the last few years.  I don't know how the new civil war is going to go but things like this show is it won't work very well for the left.  But they'll to be shown that in small words and pictures that even they can understand.

Well that's a good start.  Some Democrats aren't even being anonymous, they are going on tv and saying that crime is a huge problem in this city.  They're probably trying to get ahead of the curve.  If the black majority start seeing that Trump has actually helped them in ways Democrats insisted wasn't needed, the party is going to be in for huge problems.

It's not clear how long this will last.  The criminals are used to having free reign so they'll probably stay out in public for a while, making them easier to catch.  But then what?  Trump can't just say the job is done and return the city to its Democrat masters.  Any permanent changes would need to be done by Congress and what are the odds of that?

But making things better will just be too obvious to ignore.  Democrat staff and bureaucrats will know that they're in less danger now and it's all because of Trump.  The public can see it too so there's no point lying about it, but then the only alternative is to say Trump did the right thing, and that would get them purged from the party.  Leftism won't even let them solve this problem, much less go on to solving anything else.  And that's not counting having to deal with all the lies they told about how crime-free the city's been all this time.

Hillary was running things on her private server, including classified information.  She was 'doing favors' in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation, all seen on her emails.  The FBI had been investigating this and generally agreed that this would be a huge crime if anybody else did it, so the Justice Department refused to help and Sally Yates emailed them to shut down the investigation.

They were all protecting corruption.  Safe to assume they weren't just naively going along, they were in on it too.  This also made it easy to project their own behavior onto Trump so they can blame him for everything.  Then when Hillary failed to steal the election, they were running out of time.  Couldn't wait until they'd actually found any real evidence, they needed to move before Trump took office.

So NSA Director Mike Rogers emailed everybody that they had to work as a team and ignore all their usual rules and requirements to declare Trump guilty of whatever they accused him of.  The only evidence they had was their "consensus" and the details provided by the Hillary campaign.  Since they were all in on that, that's what they went with.  They would go on to leak this information to their allies who would reveal them to the press, and everybody would lie about it.

Does that basically sum it up, how the Obama administration worked to overthrow Trump before he even took office?  Yeah, there will be more details coming out about this, Hillary and Obama's role, but it's not clear what could be done about this, if anything.  This is going to need to go kinetic just to have a resolution.

So they've exposed another leftist method of funneling money.  By using fake names, foreigners can donate and rich people can give money beyond the legal limits.  Congress has been sending ActBlue subpoenas for months but apparently they're just ignored.  I didn't know you could do that.

I'm guessing discovery of this sort of thing came from investigations by DOGE, seeing how all this money moved through the government and to whom.  There are probably more organizations like this, they're probably just going after the biggest ones with the most high-ranking people involved.  We already know they moved money around a lot as a way of hiding where it came from and what it was used for but I'm starting to wonder how much of the economy actually exists through hidden mechanisms like this.

The internet would have immensely expanded this sort of thing.  So would all the endless pages of congressional regulations, allowing their people to ignore their rules and become rich.  Then there's other celebrities who probably also take part.  This is all quite possibly relevant but we're not getting any details, or seeing how meaningful it really is.  Maybe it's just demonstrating how the government controls every aspect of our lives - and there's a lot that needs to be chopped down - but we need tangible progress here.

Haven't paid close attention to the judicial verdicts but it looks like most of them have been in Trump's favor, or are reversing the lower court decision.  I think it's been a while since a higher court ruled against Trump.  This shows that the administration is making these moves legally and it's the lower courts that refuse to accept that.

I've said this before but most of the battle in the judiciary won't be seen by the public.  We don't pay attention to these things and wouldn't understand them if we did.  So it's not remotely clear what's going on in the judiciary.  My impression, with no evidence whatsoever, is that they have not reached a turning point but they are headed that direction and *something* has been made official.  It's like a sports team has a decent lead and is likely to win but at half-time, the other team still has a chance.

It's possible the final battle will be held at the Supreme Court.  That's certainly the most obvious way to go.  But it's also possible that this might just be a fight with each leftist judge along the line.  As we see here, Congress passed a bill, Trump was following the rules, there was nothing for the lower court to overturn, yet they did anyway.  That's the sort of thing that needs to be stopped.

In Hunter's long interview a couple weeks ago, he insisted that Epstein introduced Melania and Trump.  Well, here's a perfect opportunity for him to provide the evidence.  That'll guarantee his success among Democrats, he may even be their next nominee for POTUS with that proof.  For that matter, he can countersue Melania for a billion dollars.

Most of us would probably prefer it if Melania had just sued his ass off on the spot but there are probably legal reasons why she went this way.  Have to give the defamer a chance to apologize first before going to court.  Pretty sure Hunter will immediately cave in.  He knows he has no chance and it's not like he has any money left to lose.  He also has to worry what evidence they might have against him, like this stuff his Dad theoretically gave him a pardon for.  Then again, it's been a week or two, he may not even remember saying this stuff.

But this is a reason the Epstein stuff needs to be released and should have been made public years ago.  The delay doesn't help Trump, it does encourage the left and there's already reasons not to believe whatever does come out.  Now we get to wait for the Clintons to testify, because that'll work so well.

Maybe Ukrainians want peace but Zelensky doesn't, so who wins that fight?  Well it's obvious who wins, the one man in charge of everybody else.  He'll tell the people to shut up and die for the cause, just as he's done for years.  If things get too bad, he'll just get in a plane and fly off to be with his rich friends.

Meanwhile illegal immigrants from Russia still keep settling in their new homes, currently taking up more and more of Donetsk.  Not clear why Ukraine supporters are so determined to protect one nation's borders but ignore every other other nation being invaded.  Even when you point this out to them, they just ignore it.  It's like all they have to go on is the war and without that, they'd be empty for the rest of their lives.  I'm exaggerating but not by much.

There will be yet-another attempt at peace talks in a few days.  Most of Europe will not be involved but it's not like they have anything to offer.  Zelensky won't be part of it either.  We'll see if Trump really has anything to say.  Maybe Russia is tired of it too but I'm not sure that would matter.  It's starting to look like the war was less about problems with Ukraine and more about handling the EU and the US, which it looks like they've done fairly well.

No matter what happens, the EU must be humiliated by this.  They've spent all these years demanding war and it really hasn't gotten them anything.  There's protests across their western nations, a lot of eastern nations have a lot of experience with Russia and see them as a more reliable neighbor than the EU.  The Muslim invaders certainly aren't interested in fighting for Ukraine.  Trump has demanded NATO do better, which isn't really happening, and they've already had years to rebuild their militaries.

One of the best things to say about Trump is how his haters are all inspired to show how far away they are from reality.  Doesn't matter how much crime poor people have to suffer through, he only cares about the imaginary global warming that we've been promised for decades.  He obviously doesn't associate with very many poor people and they probably aren't permitted to say what they're actually thinking when he's around.

Even poor Democrats in DC know the problems they're facing, but those in charge refuse to admit it.  Only the highest-ranking and the wealthiest get to be surrounded by bodyguards, everyone else has to take their chances.  But no one gets to ask why the murder rate has gone up so high yet every other crime has reportedly gone down.  Because the police have to do something about murder, they can ignore the rest of it.

I keep asking when is the left going to see that they're causing these problems but it's obvious that they never do.  Maybe this is why they always ignore the truth, so that when Trump has actually done something about crime in DC, they'll just find something else to whine about.  But like everything else leftists do, their supporters get smaller in number.  Trump has already been hitting them on government funding and executive orders, now all they can do is keep going after children to get the next generation.

Schiff is also one of the targets of investigations here.  He gets less attention than Hillary or the others but it's still relevant.  This is reported by a whistleblower who, of course, isn't named.  I get that there's a reason for hiding names but it gets very tedious and frankly unbelievable.  Might as well trust anything said by some 'unnamed source.'

This whistleblower is reportedly a Democrat so it's quite possible that at least some of them see that they're in for another three-and-a-half years of Trump.  Better get out while the getting is good.  In this case, Schiff gave the orders to his staff to reveal classified info.  We don't know what was revealed - doesn't that defeat the point? - but he was doing this in 2017 to ruin Trump.  The Biden administration investigated and saw nothing wrong with this.  Isn't covering up a crime also a crime?  It's amazing how Democrats get to do things that would send the rest of us to jail.

Schiff also has a weakness, declaring his primary residence in Maryland to make it cheaper to run his property there.  He's done this since 2003 even though he's a Congressman of California where the law says you have to actually live in California to be elected.  His bodyguards are probably instructed to keep away anyone who might ask where his current legal residence is located.  He'll need that to stay hidden from the public for as long as possible.

That is something fun to watch these days, as more and more secrets start coming out about these people.  Nancy Pelosi is still the main target, being the leader who gets filthy rich making investments using her inside information, but all the others will be brought in as well.  This does make a valid question though, will anything be done about it?  If Democrats and their servants completely ignore this, as they have for all these years, how can they be punished?  And by who, the rest of the uniparty?

They waited several days to cave.  Doesn't sound like they'll be remotely punished.  They aren't just turning around and coming back immediately, they even claim they accomplished their mission.  That last part might just be delusion but what was the point of this?  They can break the rules and get away with it, you think that's going to stop them from doing it again?

That said, I could see this being a genuine loss on their side.  They didn't win any points on their own side.  You can say they inspired other Democrat governors to do some redistricting but those states will just be caught up for already doing this.  You want to expose your allies doing exactly what you're complaining about?  Not a good plan.

They also may not have any real options to get by if this strike continues.  Avoid your job, go another state and get paid for that by some rich liberals?  I'm pretty sure most states would have laws against their legislatures doing this sort of thing, it makes them look too obviously a figurehead for the elites.  You gotta hide that at least a little bit.

Otherwise, what are they going to do?  Come back, vote against the bill and lose?  That's not going to get them anywhere, so they must have some other plan.  If nothing else, they've proven they can defy the government.  And they'd oppose other people doing that but they're special.

There are very valid reasons to criticize Trump for not releasing all the info.  But it's still quite possible that the reason for this delay is precisely to make the left look stupid.  It took them years months to even get around to noticing it, then they suddenly became obsessed with it.  But it hasn't gone anywhere so it's already dropping out of the polls as anything important.

The public release of the Epstein files has been denied by two different judges, both appointed by Obama.  If Trump-appointed judges did that, they'd be accused of protecting their boss who's on the list, so doesn't that imply...?  Maybe there is a legitimate reason to not release this, maybe Trump and his people have released everything they possibly can while following the rules.

It's still not a good explanation.  There's still the fact that nothing is being done and no one will even get revealed to the public, much less punished.  But things are still underway.  James Comer (R-KY) just called out Bill Clinton as a big name being targeted to explain things.  I still think the Clintons will defy the subpoena but they're not going to look good for that.  Maybe they'll be lucky and die of "suddenly" before they get that far.

Are we going to get another scene of a woman lusting for power pushing her old unhealthy man too far?  The British monarchy isn't something that Americans should be interested in but here we are.  I would think the monarchs had definite rules and traditions on the matter.  And face it, Charles is old and by all accounts is in lousy health.  This woman isn't royalty, she just wouldn't know any better.

I keep saying this but I'd respect Charles a lot more if he had been handed the crown and immediately turned to give it to William.  The only reason I can think of that he didn't was power-lust, and maybe that was just his wife.  Elizabeth II had been queen for a very long time, the most convenient example is that when she took the throne, Elvis Presley was in high school and just getting into this music thing.  When someone that old finally dies, it should be the grandkids who take over.  [Or another example, she'd been on the throne for nine years when Diana was born and another 25 after she died.]

I don't follow William either, but from what little I've heard, he at least has potential.  Britain desperately needs a good leader.  The protests are still going, there's a chance that Brits are finally not going to take any more of this and Charles will be one of the targets.  If William can speak out and oppose the oppression his father helped install on the country, that would be a very good sign.

Well here we go.  He cites legal authority and issues Executive Orders regarding the military.  Notice that the left just insists that DC crime is so much less than it's been for thirty years.  That's because nobody gets arrested for crime anymore, so it doesn't get counted.  I think there's a good chance blacks in DC are going to be very pleased that it's suddenly become safer in their neighborhoods and they'll ask why the hell Democrats opposed it.

Because it's Trump, I also assume there's something else going on.  A couple of months ago, there was a story about an underground tunnel leading out from Congress.  I don't think I cited that story and finally closed that webpage after waiting for months for something to say about it, but I'm wondering if the military is going to be checking out those tunnels.  They probably already have a good idea of what they've been used for.

And look who finally had something to say in public.  Well, tweet.  Well, at least her name is attached to it, no clue if she had anything to do with this.  Of all that's going on in the world, she rushes to speak out about police not arresting anybody so that's proof everything is safe?  Nothing suspicious about that.  There is the obvious reduction of crime but I think they're going after something here.

This is happening just as Trump also orders the military to move against the drug cartels, mostly from Mexico but it looks like he's going after Latin America in general.  That's an interesting move.  I'm not sure how much they'll be fighting on the enemy's turf but since the borders already seem to be mostly-safe, what other option is there?  It's like he has told the other leaders 'we're taking the cartels out, you need to decide which side you're on.'  Because it involves the US and our borders, that is one of Trump's 'foreign' actions which I totally support.

NBC is doing this?  The reporter just shows pix of how Illinois districts are organized, which looks very stupid, and points out that's exactly what they're criticizing Texas for.  It really does look like the media is at least making an attempt to be less discriminatory against political parties they don't like.  It probably comes down to their parent companies wanting government funding - what the government gives, the government can take away - but there's also the fact that they can appeal to the majority of Americans or to liberals but they can't do both.

Gavin Newsom has made a point of threatening to do the same thing.  It's not that impressive since California already did that.  Most people hadn't thought about this but now that Trump's lit the fire, they're looking at blue states and seeing how many of their citizens vote Republican and how that is not reflected by elected state or federal officials.  Democrats are going to need to drop this argument real quickly, or at least censor anyone who asks some obvious questions about their own states.

Still not sure what authority there is to have a mid-decade census.  But given how many illegal immigrants are gone, it's probably needed.  And there's all the leftists who promise to flee the country, gotta determine the population reduction in their areas too.  With the illegals, the media, leftists and more, it is really impressive how Trump 2.0 is getting things moving the right direction.  Don't know how long it'll last but it's such a relief after the last few decades.

This came out after I wrote the above.  This just seems stupid.  Newsom had just made his other comment and Trump hadn't even bothered to respond, now it's suddenly 24-hours.  Hopefully Trump still won't respond.  Knowing him, he probably will but just as a snarky comment to the media.  Then the blue states will have to try to figure out what to do and a lot of their citizens won't like it.

It's been almost ten years, at some point you need to see that Trump is setting up these traps that you just rush into.  The fact that the left can't just step back and chill out for a while shows why they're always causing more problems than they know what to do with.  At this point, it looks like they'll respond to this failure by looking for the modern version of Fort Sumter to seize it from the federal government.

We still don't see much of what's going on but it is starting look like the tide is turning on WWIII.  Europe really doesn't have anything to go with so they need to be for US help.  That means they need to turn to the guy they've been attacking all these years.  What else are they going to do, rely on Ukraine?

Zelensky is the one causing the problems here, he's basically said he won't agree to any agreement unless Ukraine gets everything.  And he'll keep the war going no matter what Ukrainians think of it.  It's not like he needs to face any elections or even criticism.  He gets to fly around with leftist celebrities, there's no reason to give peace a chance.

I don't know what problems Russia is having and don't really trust any of the reports.  That said, it's suggested that Russia has had far too many casualties for taking too little territory.  If true, well that's their problem.  Russia's always a mess, that's what they're here for.  Overthrow Putin and replace him with someone just as bad, not our problem.  He has to live there.  But I don't really trust the report on casualties and it's tough to believe that Russia has really struggled to get a few miles here and there.  But if Putin and/or Zelensky can't be overthrown to stop the war, let these countries kill each other.

This is one of those problems that I just don't see how it can be solved.  Congress is the one setting the rules for accountability and investigation so they can ignore those rules whenever they want.  Maybe they could all turn on Nancy Pelosi but even if she couldn't rat out the others, it's just picking one person to be punished for what everyone does.  That's just not workable.

Can't put that anti-corruption unit on the Executive branch because it's the same thing, the POTUS can punish Congress and get away with it himself.  And if they're not accountable to Congress then who's in charge?  Any possibility would be the same, open to bribery and corruption.  Then there's the problem of making these laws apply to member of Congress, their spouses or senior staff.  Ok, they'll just work through a child, a cousin, a next-door neighbor or junior staff.

About the closest I can come to a solution would be to just expose everybody, punish them all, and it'll be a decade or two before their replacements can find another way to do the same thing.  There's just no other option.  But at least we can enjoy finding out who else is pulling this.  Maybe we'll get to see who's willing to turn others in first to save themselves.

Will they be subpoenaing Joe to testify?  That would make for some fun question-and-answer sessions.  This would bring up an interesting challenge about how much can be undone.  I'm sure there are limits, we already know laws passed by Congress remain whether or not they were signed.  And there will be tons of lawsuits no matter what.

I'm sure it will be very tedious and boring but it could also provide an interesting image on how the unelected executive branch operates when there's nobody at the helm.  Trump has a fair amount of leeway to modify things but there are also aspects which will need Congress to mandate or forbid.  And as a scarier notion, it will also illustrate how many officials can be replaced by A.I.

It is strange that the Clintons haven't said much of anything in public for a while.  They know what's coming after them and it's not clear what defenses they have at this point.  They're old and out-of-touch, any popularity they have comes from a job Bill left 25 years ago.  But it's not like Republicans in Congress haven't done stuff like this before and what, at this point, is the goal?  They even made sure to save the Clintons for last so maybe there will be all this other information made public.  Or it'll just be a waste of time.

And they still come out to tease us that something is going to be done about this.  As I started writing this, I was surprised that I actually had hope that it was going somewhere, but just a few paragraphs later, we're where it always winds up, waiting and waiting while nothing is happening.  I will give them credit for putting all this stuff out at once, but very little has made a difference so far.  Trump is clearly aiming for something to happen by next July 4 but there's reason to worry that'll just be a show.

I like this one.  As a long-time Democrat stronghold, DC is known for its horrible crime rate and general depravity.  Since the government won't do anything about it, Trump will.  Making the city safer might even give a lot of black voters reasons to not vote Democrat, but it's probably more about Trump just being disgusted by what's going on out in the city.

The homeless have to get away from the Capitol, although Trump says they'll get a place to stay.  He's already sending out 120 federal agents to police the streets and a few hundred more are preparing to be involved.  This seems like an obvious decision to make, no one else will do anything so he sends his people in and safety is the result.  Congress will have to ignore it entirely because otherwise they'd have to admit that they refused to do anything.  They'll also have to worry if any of the criminals they associate with will be arrested.

This is one of those things where the appearance is quite relevant.  We could put up with such disgust in other (Democrat-run) cities but this is our nation's capital.  They're supposed to have standards and it says something about what we've been reduced to that Donald Trump is the one who has the highest standards.  You had decades to do something and you just made things worse.  Now see what a chief executive can do.

I'm not sure any of this is productive.  I know Trump's not going to listen to me and he's obviously trying to give peace a chance, but he was supposed to be done with these negotiations months ago when they were clearly going nowhere.  Yet here he is.  The fact that it's taking place in Alaska is startling.  Not the place you expect a peace summit, or Russians to be allowed access to.

Zelensky is clearly the weak end of this.  He's been caught funneling money with an ally using business deals in the bathroom.  Wouldn't surprise me if they're actually gay lovers although that probably won't be revealed.  But anyway, he's having trouble staying in power, as Ukrainians want this war over now and by extension, they want him gone.

Meanwhile Russia keeps moving forward.  They have no incentive to go for peace and they're taking more cities in Donetsk.  But Trump isn't backing down, having moved nuclear submarines into the vicinity.  It's also been reported that British military officers have been caught by Russia.  If true, that's a bad move.  NATO actively engaged in a war that's none of their business?  And you can't even keep them from getting captured by the enemy?

 This war has gone on for a ridiculously long time.  It's not getting much attention these days but it used to get a lot.  Which is strange considering how many other wars were going on - the ones Trump has brought peace to - which got almost no attention.  I hope that whatever underlying secrets were going on get exposed soon.  Why the hell did worldwide leftists care so much?  Why not just let both sides kill each other?  They're white, so it's not like anyone else should care.

This is just coming off like another trap.  I don't know how much gerrymandering Texas has done in the past.  I assume they've done a lot because, well, they're a state.  But it's a big state with a lot of room to change things.  They've also been getting rid of the illegal immigrants so there's population reduction to consider.  Democrat states don't have as much to work with and every indication suggests that they've already been gerrymandered as much as possible.

I think they're going to run in some problems very quickly.  The point is clearly to get rid of the few Republicans they have in Congress but they'll be overwhelmed by what's needed to do that.  'This block is now part of a precinct fifty miles away!' is not going to work very well.  Otherwise they'll have to cut out some of the Democrats being elected too.

I suspect they'll stop making noise about this very soon.  Almost half the country votes Republican in every area, no matter how blue.  And vice-versa, which is probably why Republicans haven't done as much of this as they could.  The left has just latched onto this in a similar way to how they completely ignored Jeffrey Epstein for all these years until a few weeks ago.  Yet another trap they're rushing towards.

I assume he's not doing it for a Nobel prize, I just think it's hilarious that he's doing so much for peace and the left is doing everything they can to ignore it.  All they are saying is Trump cannot be allowed to get any credit for peace, no matter what.  And I say this as someone who really doesn't support Trump doing this when there are more important domestic issues to take care of.

But thinking about it, what if he really was doing this just to get a Nobel?  It seems very weird but not completely out-of-character for Trump to come up with that as a goal so the next step is figuring out how to get one.  'We need more peace!  Ok, look for the warzones and convince them to knock it off, the next Nobel will be MINE!'  That would be even funnier than the left's reaction.

This really is the left setting itself up for more failure.  It was just a couple months ago that they unanimously insisted that Trump's failure meant he was going after a war to cover up for it.  I get that they aren't consciously aware of what they're doing but others are and it just makes them look so foolish.  They'll do anything to get more wars back all around the world?  Really?  Is that the, uh, the hill you're willing to die on?

The really sad part is that this might be permanent, that whatever was good about Europe is now entirely past-tense.  You could argue that they reached the highest level of existence on Earth and since then have just declined.  I always cite WWI as the turning point although one could cite other years, but regardless that's what happened.

After a couple thousand years of developing civilization, they grew old and lazy.  Their own history wasn't worth remembering and they invited their own replacements to take over.  The new residents have no connection to the land or what was built here, they didn't even come from societies that would work to maintain it.  Europe has spent the last few generations relying on the US to do anything important so they're not even capable of restarting a functional society.  The more I think about it, the more depressing it gets.

Haven't heard anything about the protests for a couple days, so either they've gotten worse or they've just gone away entirely.  I think the EU itself was what killed Europe.  Each country was so old and so developed on its own that there was no way it could do more than pretend to unify politically.  That pretense was enough to shut down any real progress and is why they're in this mess now.

It's why the USA deserves so much credit for being founded that way from the start.  Each state could exist on its own while the union was already there.  But that only works if we're basically all the same people.  Europe didn't have that and now the strength it did have is gone.  I would like to be proven wrong but the EU is just a husk that depends on Russia, China, the US and immigrants for everything.

Oh fer...  There's a legitimate argument to putting these people in an insane asylum but there's no point for that now.  Just shoot him, or hang him if you want to save bullets.  This is what leftism does to people and they're always aimed at kids.  I think sane people have gotten tired of this fake "decency," putting up with insanity like this.

I go back and forth on whether or not these people can be identified as "leftists."  That seems a little too obvious to go for, but it usually lines up.  For that matter, you could also say they're 'victims of leftism' regardless of whatever their actual beliefs are.  I don't think that's a question that could really be answered, although for all I know they've already got A.I. checking every single record, online or otherwise, ever made by every single one of these people.  Whatever the results are, we won't be told until long-after our elites have gotten ready for it.

There will also probably be a move towards tribalism, at least among the commoners.  It's pretty obvious, work out who's on your side and support each other against everyone else.  In this case, there should be armed guards around watching over kids like this.  There comes a point where we'll have to see what groups of humanity know what they have to fight for and then the left's goal of "population reduction" will look a lot different.
