Another C-span clip from June 20, 1997 came out.  Biden is talking about how Russia must be made to look in a western direction.  What else would they do, turn to China?  "Good luck.  And if that doesn't work, try Iran.  I'm serious."  He says that's not an option.  Clearly it was an option and that's exactly what they've done.  Russia is now shipping Iranian oil claiming it's Russian, how much of that is coming into the US?

It is utterly startling how competently Biden is speaking in these clips. If we didn't know he was Joe Biden, we could make a convincing argument that this guy is intelligent, or at least knows what he's talking about. Compare that to any clips of him from the last few years and there's a world of difference.

How much more clear could it be that this is exactly what they've wanted for years.  Now they even get to delude themselves by saying it's all Russia's fault.  If you want to solve people's problems you have to mention them.  But "that issue hasn't come up" for Democrats.  They aren't going to say anything about it and they aren't going to have anybody around them who does.

You don't think these people notice how much it costs to drive to work, do you?  The price had gone up over 20 cents/gallon today since the last time I saw it, a couple days ago.

Ukraine announced yesterday that they estimated 12,000 Russian soldiers in the fighting since the invasion began 13 days before.  A lot more were wounded.  Ok, that's almost a thousand Russians dead and at least as many wounded every single day.

The US lost 29,204 soldiers in the Battle of Normandy which lasted for 81 days, June 6 to August 25, 1944.  That's barely 350.5 deaths a day.  We lost 19,276 soldiers in the Battle of the Bulge, December 16, 1944 to January 28, 1945, a little over 438 deaths per day.

Are Ukrainians a lot more eager to kill invaders than Nazis?  Germany was already losing, the Bulge was their last chance to win, they were desperate, but they don't come close to Ukrainians for bloodlust?  Russia has a much bigger army and haven't remotely been using their full destructive force as much as they could be, such as using an air force.  At least when they invaded Germany, they had soldiers in the back whose job was to shoot any Russians who tried to retreat which would increase Russian casualties.

And how come the number of dead Ukrainians wasn't included in the release?  They were too busy to count how many of them died but had time and energy available to count how many they had killed?  This is really coming off like media propaganda.  And now the actor-turned-president says he's willing to give in to some of Putin's demands?

There's a problem with that.  Poland would be giving their jets to the US at Ramstein Air Force base in Germany.  That's a NATO member arming an attack on Russia and another NATO member making it happen.  That gives Russia the right to attack Poland and, by extension, other NATO members like Germany and the US.  At least if Poland gave the jets directly to Ukraine, it might be excusable.

Members of the Convoy are meeting with people in DC now.  I get the point of 'not having a need to know' but I think this is ridiculous, they need to at least explain which things we don't have a need to know.  "That's secret" is a specific explanation because there's a lot of people with a lot of questions and are getting no answers.
