□ [“Trump Terminates All Trade Negotiations With Canada"]
This came out yesterday. For some reason, Ontario had spent $75 million on an ad about Ronald Reagan's stance on tariffs and... Exquize me? Baking powder? How the
F***!!!
do you spend $75 million on an ad for anything? The ad is just a minute of generic footage with a voiceover from a Reagan speech in 1987, no

an
d Taylor Swift in a six-hour porn movie. Where did that $75 million go?
Anyway, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation threatened to sue. I'm guessing they have the rights to Reagan's image and they hadn't given permission to a foreign country to make this ad. According to Trump, this was an attempt by the foreign country to interfere with the upcoming Supreme Court decision on tariffs, so he cut off the negotiations. Canadian PM Mark Carney said he was trying to build trade deals with Asia.
□ [“Ontario Premier Doug Ford Caves, Pulls Anti-Tariff Ad Campaign"]
This came out today. You would have thought they'd learn a lesson months ago when they tried to fight Trump's tariffs and quickly gave up. But apparently not. You've had decades to get China's permission to make deals in Asia but instead they spend a ton of money on a pointless ad. This is Canada, if you want to be important to anybody but your neighbors, this isn't the way to do it.
This does suggest that the globalist left is weakening if this is their best idea. I doubt the Supreme Court is paying much attention to Ontario tv ads. I'm not even sure Canadians do and if they have anything in common with the rest of the western world, they'd be asking their insane government why they're doing this. Who is this supposed to convince?

Day 24 without a federal government. What are we doing here? Nobody cares that there's no government, they're just going on with their lives. Bad enough that we look like whiners focused on something nobody cares about but then we want to keep adding all these stupid expenses and for what? Most people look at our list of demands and think that's stupid, but we're just holding onto it and everybody will just have to do without a government? That defeats the whole point!
Sorry, I was stoned. I'm better now. ORANGE MAN BAD! We must stop Orange Man! I hate Orange Man and anybody who doesn't hate Orange Man! You hate Orange Man too! Where's my drugs? Can't get rid of Orange Man without more drugs. Oh what a life this is.

□ [“Rosie O’Donnell Calls for American Economic Blackout in Social Media Post"]
Fat old lesbian isn't in charge of anything but I wouldn't be surprised if she has connections to those who are. Since the last batch of protests have already been forgotten, these people need to start trying to get people interested in the next ones, a strike running from November 25 to December 2. No work, no spending, no projects, no events and she lists "no restaurants" twice because she's fat.
First of all, that's not really something poor people can take part in because they need to go to work and buy food. And gas to get to work. If the economy is doing as badly as liberals insist that it is, they already need help so this is only relevant to O'Donnell's rich old leftist friends. Are they going to want the maids, cooks, gardeners and maintenance to ditch their mansions for a week?
Second of all, you tried that last year. Everybody who voted Harris was supposed to ditch their families for Thanksgiving. Didn't hear a thing about it so either it never happened or it did and nobody cared. One thing I've noticed about leftists is that they always seem to think they're the ones giving the orders. O'Donnell tells us to do this so we must obey! That's not going to work either.
Third, what are you going to do with this turns out to be as meaningless as the "No Kings" protests? Old white people stay at home doing nothing, that's supposed to mean anything to anybody? It'll probably hurt businesses that depend on old people to be customers but who else? You're not doing anything to appeal to any other group which is usually needed to convince society to go your way. It's sort of like elections, y'know?

□ [“Democrats Hyperventilating Over Trump’s East Wing Renovation"]
This seems to be the latest pointless distraction. Trump had the East Wing of the White House torn down to be replaced by a ballroom. I think Trump has said something about it being too small for large gatherings and I think someone said that this part of the East Wing isn't even connected to the actual White House that we know. But leftists are somehow horrified, Chelsea Clinton is whining about all the silverware her family stole, stuff like that.
I can see an argument to keep the building the way it was but I don't have much interest either way. If anything, I'm curious if Trump had much to do with the decision. A federal construction project, especially for this place, sounds like something that would have been in the planning stages before his first term. And, being Trump, he convince people to make donations for this so the taxpayer doesn't lose any money for it.
The reason it's probably getting so much publicity is because the left and their media are trying to pretend they care about the US. Obama did massive renovation at taxpayer-expense and they didn't object to that. What's changed? The whole building was destroyed in a war at one point, this is not remotely as important, but the left can just go on pretending they're at war.

□ [“Police Report Reveals DC Congressional Delegate Norton Has 'Early Stages of Dementia'"]
When I saw the headline, I thought she had been caught walking around in the middle of the night or driving recklessly, although that might mean a little more than "early stages." Turns out she was scammed by people claiming to be HVAC maintenance who came into her house, got access to her credit cards and got some money out of it.
As the boomers get decrepit, I'm wondering how much more of this is going to happen before we do something. I'm also thinking of Gene Hackman and his wife who lived in the middle of nowhere, people rarely had any contact with them, so they'd been dead for weeks before anybody knew about it. Of course it will make a difference when it's people in our own lives, but they were rich and famous, this lady was in Congress, don't they have anybody around who notices these things? At least Joe Biden had people who knew, even if they were just using him to grab whatever they could.
This lady is 88 and has been there since I was in high school. There needs to be a limit to what these people can do in Congress, or anywhere else. I give Trump a pass on this but he's still really old too. Nancy Pelosi and Bernie Sanders are even worse and those are just the people who immediately come to mind. Look up oldest members of Congress and it's appalling. You'd think a biparty bill in Congress with age limits would get a lot of appeal, from the public if not from other congressmen, but the problem is that even the younger ones are aspiring to get that old and still be in power.
