Day 17 without a federal government.  Once I thought civilized men could eventually reach an agreement.  I used to think that there was a limit to the depravity and malevolence of our enemies.  Once I knew that everybody could find the right path to follow.  But now I really really really want my federal government back and you people are keeping it from me!  Make it stop!!!

Sooner or later you're going to need a DEI-hired brain surgeon.  We'll be at war and we should have troops that have memorized all the dozens and dozens of correct pronouns.  Democrat-donating billionaires will be wiped out.  And just think of the children!  How can we afford to abort them now?  So far I've been tolerant and kind to all you inferior evil scum but you're going to make me change my mind.  Now start voting the way I tell you to or else!

We know, and Soros.  If the last year is any indication, tomorrow's protests will fail.  But I will be paranoid and assume something will happen.  For one thing, it occurred to me that a lot of government employees are black and they've been without a paycheck for the last seventeen days.  So this is probably a way to get non-white people to show up at these protests.  It makes them look more popular although nothing else has changed.

To an extent, I'm sure that'll work.  I'd also assume Antifa and their supporters will be there, finally bringing in some young people.  Still not sure how many will actually show up, and I'm still debating whether or not to go to my local protests just to check them out.  But between blacks and antifa, it may not be safe.  I'm sure there will be some people who aren't leftists showing up for a similar reason as me, but in the bigger cities, they may decide to riot.  Or just cause some other mess.

The media will declare this a huge success, it's possible Congress will give in.  All the reasons to be pessimistic might come to pass.  But otherwise, this will mean nothing and the Trump agenda will continue as planned.  Then Democrats will have to figure out what to do next, since obviously they can't vote to restart the government.  Plan B, Plan C, Plan K, Plan Y, what other options do they have?

And just a note, the Supremes have already ruled on the C-i-C's authority here so these activist judges are being idiotic.  Barrett could have pointed that out but instead she said these lower courts needed to explain themselves by 5PM Monday.  My guess is they're waiting to see how the weekend goes.

Not really feeling it but for convenience, I'll be optimistic that this will get somewhere.  Wouldn't matter to Trump, he still insists on being relevant to this war.  It would be hilarious if he reaches yet-another peace deal right after he was denied a Nobel prize, while Congress is out-of-session so they can't claim any credit for anything.  Put all of that together and you can make a sensible argument that Russia and Ukraine have finally found a reason to stop fighting.

This meeting is a set-up for Trump meeting Putin in the near-future.  They'll be in Bucharest, an odd choice.  Hungary is having problems with the rest of the EU who wants more war.  It's also said that Trump is no longer eager to send Ukraine more long-range missiles, which I'll believe when Ukraine has clearly run out of missiles.  Until then, this is just talk, and no encouraging.

I keep saying this but Russia and Ukraine's problems go way back.  Kiev used to be Russia's capital city fer cryin' out loud.  Trump isn't going to fix this and even a peace agreement won't last very long.  It'll probably last longer than Trump's time in office which may be all he's going for but there's little to be optimistic about here.  That's not even counting all the money laundering, BRICS or anything else they're getting up to.  We should send in spies to keep track of what they're doing but little else.

If you believe polls, they are suggesting otherwise.  I don't so I haven't even looked.  As always, in a rational world this wouldn't be an issue, Democrats would have never let this psycho get so close to power with full support from other Democrats.  Or they could just steal the election for him, simple as that.  Otherwise, if there's any sense, voters will reject him and all his ilk without the slightest difficulty.

He made a generic apology, a few words and then moved on.  This is what shows he's a psychopath.  A normal person would realize this looks really bad and he's not going to convince anybody he's changed with such a petty apology.  Some of his sponsors ditched him, others just ignored it entirely.

Of course there was an equivalent event which looks to me entirely deliberate.  Some "Young Republicans" posted offensive statements somewhere online, so of course Democrats are universally outraged, demanding they be kicked out of public life forever, all the usual stuff.  After all, they can't hold their own people to those high standards.  It's just killing the children of people you don't like, no big deal.  I assume Republicans planned this.

Reportedly this is taking down the entire Democrat race in Virginia.  The candidate for governor was totally fine with Jones' comments, so now she needs Obama to come in and campaign for her.  He doesn't have a good record of endorsement, even for Virginia gubernatorial candidates.  Until writing this, I didn't even know the Republican candidate was a black female.  No wonder Obama opposes her.  Maybe she'd have a better chance of failing if he endorsed her.

A follow-up from yesterday's post, Trump just said a few words and that was that.  He also threatened sanctions against any nation whose unelected UN bureaucrats voted for this.  No word on what the actual vote was, but that's why they're unelected bureaucrats.  We don't need to know such things.

The bureaucrat vote took place in London, which is why I find it odd timing that this is happening at the same time.  Assuming he's more coherent than Biden, Charles has been trying to deal with problems in his family and Andrew is one of the main targets.  He was a big fan of Jeffrey Epstein and apparently he was dealing with Chinese spies who have caused problems for the current British PM.  That's why I find the timing so convenient.  Charles was urgent for a meeting with Trump - which I think finally happened a month or two ago - and this was probably one topic of discussion.

Meanwhile elsewhere in England, they are continuing to make things Jew-free.  What a great idea, wonder why nobody ever thought of that before.  If you can't protect the Jews, you've got to get rid of them.  The future EU British rulers will quite agree with that.

Haven't heard anything for a few weeks about the protests in England.  Even if they've stopped, I think the public is burning with rage.  The big worry is that it'll die out because they're not doing anything against the tyrants.  A more optimistic view would be that they're still growing, they're just quiet about it, and the rulers won't know what hit them.  I want England back.  Without them, who do Americans have to make fun of?  The French?  The Irish?
