Why does Bruce Wayne always dress up as Batman on Halloween? He just looks like a sissy.

Day 31 without a federal government. The land is empty and skies are grey. All the hope and joy has departed our lives. These days it's like we're surrounded by monsters and ghosts, I saw a bunch of them today. And even they were begging me for food. How can Trump force this to happen? He's treating this like some sort of holiday!
A whole month without a federal government. 1/12 of a whole year. 1/120 of a decade. 1/1200 of a century. Do you realize how long a century is? Wow. Mind. Totally. Blown. I should call the federal government for help. But I can't because Trump stole it from us. He just knocked on the door and said 'trick or treat' and was given a bag full of sweet candies. That's what a federal government is. It's so unhealthy but it tastes so good so you get too much of it and you puke. I wish we had more of that again.

□ [“Clinton Judge Blocks 'Proof of Citizenship' Requirement on Federal Voter Registration Forms"]
□ [“Obama Judge Orders Trump Admin to Fund SNAP Benefits Amid Schumer Shutdown"]
These judges are pushing things even harder despite how senseless this is. It's a law that you be a citizen to vote - the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 - so yeah, they need to prove that they're following the law. And shutdowns shut the government down so you can't just decide to spend more money on something you like. These activist judges think they run the executive branch but they don't.
A few months ago, they seemed to be at least trying to hide behind laws. They were overruled by higher courts but something about this now comes off like they've lost part of the disguise hiding this from the public. I think that may be an added benefit of DOGE and other cuts in spending, as well as DEI. They were always like this, they were just able to hide it better.
□ [“Rep. Byron Donalds to Impeach Judge James Boasberg for Approving Spying on GOP Senators"]
This is an unrelated case which I haven't covered yet but I think it lines up with why these activist judges were installed, it's what they're all there for. In this case, Boasberg signed off on Biden administration requests to spy on Republicans and not just Senators. You may recognize Boasberg's name, he's been one of the most prominent judges standing against Trump. What a coincidence. He keeps getting overruled by higher courts but that doesn't mean they're trustworthy either. Or the Supremes. The activist judges are everywhere.

□ [“Even the Teamsters Union is Calling on Democrats to End the Government Shutdown"]
Another big union with a lot of connections to Democrats and the government. There is a caveat that it might just be the leadership and have little-to-nothing to do with the rank-and-file workers but given how normal people really aren't supporting the Democrats on this, the odds of that are going down. People connected to the leftist leaders are saying this is a bad idea so knock it off, but the party still won't listen.
I think this will cause further problems down the road. Not only are Democrats supposed to support working people, they're supposed to really support unions. But yet-another union is opposing them so they just have to be ignored. As always, unions are only relevant when they agree with leftists. It's why leftist societies don't permit workers to unionize.
It also sounds like the leftist media is ignoring this. Maybe it's tough to do government propaganda when there's no government but they're basically getting paid to keep their audience ignorant. That's another trait in leftist government where people have to read between the lines of government media, or just look elsewhere for the real news. I would like to think that the left would start demanding to be told what's real but it's not in their nature. They'll just dwindle away, similar to the union members.

□ [“Reports Arise of Impending US Attacks on Drug Cartel Targets on Venezuelan Soil"]
The White House says these reports are false but of course they would. I assume they're happening now although you could make the argument that they'll wait a day or three to really start. If you believe the White House, Trump hasn't even made a final decision yet. I tend to doubt that. He may have several options and is waiting for frontline reports to pick one but clearly the goal is to remove the Venezuelan regime and that will require boots-on-the-ground one way or another.
As with Trump's other military actions, this may be big but it's intended to be short. As far as I know, Ukraine is the only place he's been stuck in longer than he should be. Remember several months ago when the left insisted he was trying to start a war with Iran? Weren't they so young and naive back then?
No clue how but I also think this is related to the chick who got the Nobel Prize and immediately thanked Trump. They're probably doing what they can to promote her and by-extension, Venezuelans to overthrow the government. She'll probably be in charge, although it'll take a while to know if she's just a puppet, a new dictator, a place-holder.

□ [“Trump Calls on Senate to Initiate 'Nuclear Option' and Get Rid of Filibuster"]
How about 'no'? 'No' good for you? The filibuster is one of those smarmy stunts the elite politicians get to pull on each other and while they're doing that, they can't mess up the country by doing something serious. It's also a very-old practice and if you really know how conservatism works, it means we don't get rid of things just because they're old, mister pushing-80-years-old.
The Democrats would love to get rid of it, so let them take the blame if they ever regain power, which God willing won't happen for a long time. In the meantime, just because it's meaningless doesn't mean it should be removed. If anything, this is one reason I can't stop thinking of Trump as a secret leftist-ally because he's willing to take the hit and do something that doesn't need to be done.
Maybe we'll be lucky and it'll be a case of Trump wanting to do something so Democrats refuse. But nothing about this seems like a good idea and there are more important things to focus on. Election fraud being a good example, something that is quite relevant to the Senate. Or budget-cutting. But let the left set up their own traps.
