Day 25 without a federal government. I've been lost and lonely since last week's protests against the government, just drifting through the days counting the number of genders represented in Leo Tolstoy film adaptations. But now, for the first time in ages, there's a sign of hope. They're planning new protests next month! Now I finally have a reason to live. The only thing that matters in life is demanding the government come back so we can protest against it.
But what are we supposed to do until then? If we had jobs, that would be something to pass time, but then we'll just have to go on strike. If we had money, we could buy stuff but we're just living off of what [REDACTED] gives us to protest. They've started checking IDs for people who go to our orgies so we don't have those any more. It's like we're already on strike and now we just have to wait. We should protest whoever made us do that.

□ [“James Carville Melts Down on Psaki’s Show"]
He even admits that he's being hysterical but this is just babbling. Why does anybody want him on their show? I don't know if it's official but he seems to have been a public spokesman for the Clintons since Bill's first term so that may be what he's sent out for. Bill and Hillary are defying Congress requiring them to testify, they don't have a leg to stand on and Carville has to convince people to defend them.
A few days ago, he fantasized about putting Trump and "collaborators" in prison outfits and marching them down the street to be abused by the public. This is the best publicity Trump can get, no wonder Carville isn't being shut down by the so-called tyrant. He's allowed to go out and say this stuff in public, that's not how tyranny works.
And now that I think about it, I suspect Carville really is the Clinton's public face so this is what they're going through in private. And by extension, everybody who's sided with them in the last few decades. Jen Psaki worked for Obama and Biden so she's in that inner circle and, to the extent her MSNBC show has any viewers, so is the audience. It's not that they're trying to convince anybody, they're just passing along the messages to whoever is left on their side.

□ [“Illinois Gov. Pritzker and Officials Could Face Sedition Charges for Blocking ICE Deportations"]
□ [“DOJ Officially Weighing RICO Charges Against Antifa and Far-Left Domestic Terrorists"]
This may be why the Clintons and their ilk are so scared but some of us realize that it doesn't mean very much to just talk about it. Haven't paid a whole lot of attention to all the talk of the Trump administration actually doing about these enemies and looking at this, you can see why. A few people have finally been charged but that's going to be a long-drawn affair with no hint that it'll go anywhere, much less lead to anybody else maybe being charged for something.
The charges could be serious, if anything is ever actually done with them. They're bigger than the left has used against Trump and a lot of those being charged might turn in others to save themselves. But one major problem is that it does come across as vengeance, no matter how much evidence there is. For all my complaining, I am still trying to be optimistic about the Trump administration and I will admit that they have to get through a lot of details to be able to go after these people.
□ [“Trump Demands Prosecution of Garland, Smith, Wray for Illegal Spying on GOP Senators"]
So it's 50-50 if this helps or hurts. In addition to the legal roadblocks, there' s the executive branch. Trump can't just order something to happen and then it does. I really don't get what exactly is stopping this but I am fully aware that it's just the nature of running an organization. The negative part is that just demanding prosecution isn't a good look. It's bad if they do rush to obey the order and it's worse if they don't.
But we still need solid progress. The accomplishments we've seen from Trump 2.0 are impressive but they can all be erased. Remember when he said all the info on Epstein would be released? Boy was that a different world. But even there, I notice the left has, after all these years, suddenly become fixated on it as an excuse to attack Trump, and I'm wondering how that looks to the Clintons, knowing that they could be attacked a lot more by their own supporters.
Furthermore, they have to deal with the fact that the enemy is all throughout the government and elites. AG Bondi has told Nancy Pelosi to "preserve her emails" after saying that ICE agents should be arrested. Can't just arrest her for treason but they are very close to having that ready to go precisely because congressmen shouldn't be saying such things, especially rich old white women like Nancy. This is a very delicate path to get through and all our complaints won't change that.

□ [“Democrat Establishment Rallies Behind Zohran Mamdani — House Leader Hakeem Jeffries Gives Full Endorsement"]
I think Chuck Schumer's the only big-name Democrat who hasn't endorsed this Muslim who self-identifies as a Communist. Democrats always tend to win elections after losing a Presidential election, they've done everything to rig this one, no reason to assume they'll lose other than sanity. I always assume Islam is dominant in his mind but talking to the infidel is the same as talking like a leftist, you can say whatever you want. He claims he never wanted to "defund the police" despite video of him saying exactly that just a few years ago. And the left goes along with it.
But they really are doubling down on insane leftism with these upcoming elections. In addition to this guy, there's the psychopath in Virginia who hopes to murder the children of people he disagrees with because you have to cause physical pain to make people change their policies. And there's a candidate for Maine Senate with a literal nazi tattoo, which of course Democrats support. Someone holds a hand up and they're making a literal nazi salute, but getting one permanently on your body is no big deal. Even Bernie Sanders stands up for that guy.
In addition to this insane leftism which would have no chance of success in a rational world, they're also using so-called independents. A Senate candidate in Nebraska claims to be independent but is funded by Democrats from across the country. I think that's one of the sources of the Uniparty, where the left has gotten people to self-identify as right-wing or whatever, knowing that they'll always come in for the left when it really matters.
I can't really think of any equivalent for Republicans. There are some who don't care about abortion or gays, a lot more have to go along with whatever the current *woke* agenda is just to get through the day. There's reason to worry that they might side with the enemy but Republicans are also aware that everybody thinks differently. Can't figure out how, but this isn't the way Democrats handle diversity of thought. Yet somehow they're able to get the independents and RINOs and successfully steal elections, or even when them for real, when there's no way they should be able to get away with that.
