One thing I think we're seeing is how the RINOs are revealing themselves.  I was never a big National Review fan and don't know much about its history, but I've always had the impression that it was part of the early RINOs.  Somehow they'd found a way to pretend to be conservative and the goal was to lead their audience to be easily controllable by the elite leftist media.

Especially now with Trump and MAGA running strong.  These people are happily siding with all the generic leftist stereotypes without any hesitation.  If banning guns and mandating DEI is what it takes to publicly oppose Trump, they'll do that, no problem.  Sucks to be poor people who get lower gas prices and lower taxes.  National Review was never for *those* people.

The Walz/Somalians mix is not something I was expecting.  The Somalis have been getting attention in the last several days, suddenly insisting they're totally loyal Americans, even when their politicians say they openly represent Somalia.  They have been laundering Minnesota taxpayer money for years, over 59 people have been convicted so far.  And the guy overseeing Minnesota since 2019 was installed as candidate for veep last year.  Must have gotten a lot of support from *this* community.

It probably goes even further back.  Before becoming governor, Walz was elected to Congress in 2006 and was there for over a decade.  Not saying he's any good but he'd have connections to be used.  It looks like those are what's being exposed here.  My guess is the NYT is putting this out to protect others from exposure.  Walz is making noise but probably has no chance to get promoted so he's easy to sacrifice.

I'm pretty sure a lot of this is being exposed because of DOGE going through everything and then USAID cutting as much as possible.  It is becoming clear that a lot of these people were just moving money back-and-forth so now they've lost a lot of steps along the way.  A lot of leftist allies are being caught with money they shouldn't have, no way to hide it and all of this was protected by their high-ranking and wealthy politicians, and not just in Minnesota.  Next we'll find out this is normal life in Somalia.

Something else that's technically a good idea but I'm not sure how helpful it will really be.  Well, I guess it might be helpful, putting together 'fake news' articles.  Or they could just read my reports but not everybody will do that.  [wait, what?]  I guess my main objection is it's fine for Trump to do this but anyone in office after him will look like this is just official propaganda.

You could argue that it's either do it this way or funnel money to a supposedly-independent media source and let them do it.  Ok, I guess that makes sense, especially if this is mostly people sending in links to fake news, a common site that everybody can check on the list.  But it's still trusting the government, no way to get around that.  Why are we trusting the government again?  Might as well believe what we read on the internet.

I do think our side would be in better shape if we had this sort of organized news site, even if it's just reporting who provides 'fake news.'  We have finally established a connection that isn't dominated by the left, we need more of that, but it's still Trump and the government.  Maybe this is a start but it's not something we can really rely on.

The government has made a statement of pathetic defiance but the fact that nobody's willing to risk flying shows who has all the authority.  They're going to need full support of western liberals if they expect to survive this.

And they're trying.  This is idiotic.  Van Hollen didn't have any problems when Obama bombed Libya for seven months or when he killed Americans while bombing Yemen.  But this is what we've seen from Democrats for decades, they're fine with this when they do it but it's always a 'war crime' otherwise.  And their followers believe this without any question.

I still think in a couple weeks, Maduro will be gone or otherwise helpless and the left will immediately forget about this like they did with the "war" Trump supposedly wanted to start with Iran, or the 2020 attack on ISIS in Iraq.  There's a valid question how China and BRICS will respond to this but otherwise the left is going to be left on their own and not even realize that.
