This really isn't my fault! I could be writing better jokes if the kitty wasn't sitting on my back.

Day 39 without a federal government.  But even on the weekend some people still need a government.  I guess.  I don't know.  I get paid either way so I don't care.  Sucks to be the rest of you.  And I hate Trump!

Maybe that's the real master plan, people get used to there being no government and then we reopen it so they're all confused.  That's such a genius plan!  But we need to keep quiet about it, because then Republicans might learn about it and try it.  Then they would confuse people by reopening the government and just take advantage of people.  Can't let that happen.

□ [“WWII Vet Tells UK TV Anchors the War Wasn’t Worth It – The Freedom He Fought for Is Gone"]

There aren't many WWII veterans left.  This guy is 100 years old, meaning he was 20 the year the war ended.  He's British but we can all relate to this.  I still assume World War I was at least one climax for human existence although the bigger, more expensive sequel is still better known.  He had to deal with the 20th century and last 25 years, it's totally understandable why someone would say 'this wasn't worth it.'

Can it be fixed?  I don't know.  So much of the 1900s was making leftism prominent and we're still surrounded by it.  You can argue that it was always there, I think it's largely a part of human nature, but it simply can't function without advanced technology, so that's that.  Only the highest elites could even conceive of such a life and they still had to go without electricity, long-range communication or indoor toilets.  Not much room for advocating abortions of made-up genders.

And that's largely the problem, there's no way to purge leftist beliefs and advanced technology gives them more promotion.  And I haven't even mentioned the obvious tyranny, especially in Britain where they can arrest you for being quiet and someone still finds that offensive.  The left has always promoted this tyranny, I'm not sure we can do any better than cutting it down a notch or two but we definitely need to.

□ [“Supreme Court Temporarily Halts Obama Judge’s Order for Trump to Fund SNAP Benefits"]

It's amazing how quickly the justice system can move sometimes.  On Thursday, Trump was ordered to start funding SNAP by Friday.  Trump appealed to the Supreme Court and here we are.  Not only that but the justice who put this out was the female black leftist Jackson.  I always wonder how that works, was it her turn, did she lose a bet, some organization within the court itself?  Why not have the court just put out these orders with anyone's name?

Even Jackson has sometimes voted against leftism.  Don't recall if that's ever happened under Trump but there were some 9-0 verdicts against Biden, the one I remember most is that he couldn't cancel college debt for people.  This is a similar case, Trump isn't authorized by Congress to fund SNAP when the government is shut down and no random judge can overrule that.  At some point even she must understand basic things like that.

□ [“Judge Immergut Permanently Blocks Trump From Deploying National Guard Troops to Portland"]

Yet they keep doing this.  This female judge doesn't mention Chicago, DC or any other place Trump has deployed the National Guard.  As another twist, she was appointed by Trump in his first term.  But she just decides that nothing is happening in Portland so the Commander-in-Chief must obey her.  Don't see that going very well.  I really want to know why the Supreme Court hasn't spoken out about these activists dictating their own laws.

There also other cases going on.  I know these take time but the wait is quite annoying.  Trump had appealed the fake-felony conviction, a judge refused to even consider it, then a higher judge said yes, consider it.  Other judges keep protecting James Comey from punishment for lying to Congress.  It's just more pressure building, the longer this goes on.

□ [“Democrat Rep. Says ICE Raids Gave Her PTSD, Homeland Security a 'Domestic Terror Organization'"]

One thing that can't be measured is how insane the left is becoming.  Not just the shutdown and not just Trump's second term, they've always been like this but now we can see it going off the charts.  Without a hint of self-awareness, she calls this "PTSD."  Sure puts men in combat in their place, doesn't it?  It's not like she's been involved in any of these raids, but admits her family members are illegal aliens so she might have known some who were.  She even says she's “a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.”  Get her out of our country permanently!

Sorry, got off track.  My point was that these people have no clue how reality works and are just getting more deluded day-by-day.  She went on MSNBC to say this - do they still call it that? - so she can be around her own kind and put out more propaganda to the few followers out there.  And she gets taxpayer money to do this.

The "PTSD," the "domestic terror organization," these people really think words mean whatever they want them to.  We cannot have any peace with them until they accept objective reality.  They aren't even aware of how much worse they'll make things for themselves by announcing in advance what they'll do to the rest of us if they're ever allowed to seize power again.  I'm pretty sure we're still the majority and they still have too much authority.  This insanity must be stopped.
