More big decisions coming out, I think the court is at the end of their term so there probably won't be more.  Who knows?  I don't.  Doesn't matter.  Where was I?

So the trans movement has a serious defeat.  The verdict does point out that boys and girls are actually different, that's unheard of for people who don't even know what a "woman" is.  The trans movement still hasn't figured out how to get past thousands of years of biology and promoting leftism has stopped working.  It will be a lot easier to work out how, exactly, you get boys to decide they want to play sports and be girls.  Then there's going to be some punishment for everybody who did that.

As to the other case, I didn't think it would work.  Roberts wrote the decision, it's what the 14th amendment says, "anchor babies" or not.  The amendment itself needs to be changed, otherwise I don't think anything can be done about it.

That may have been the point of Trump making this case.  It's not that he expected to win - I'm sure he wanted to - but he's putting down the rules for how this will be done.  The courts made their point all the way up the line, Trump's lawyers see what options there are to change it.  Now they can push this for the mid-terms, candidates campaigning on fixing the 14th amendment.

Meanwhile since Supreme Court judges are getting old, some might retire soon and Trump can pick replacements more attuned to what needs to be done.  Others in the legal system can look at what's been done here look for other ways to handle at their level.  So really this didn't fix anything but it didn't make things worse.  Trump of course had to make a snarky reaction, congratulating China for its victory here.

How much money will she be able to launder in with this?  The Clintons did pretty good with theirs but Nancy is way better at investing.  Of course leftists have never complained about someone becoming so rich.  All these years to push a law taxing anybody with as much money as her 100% and she never even tried.  Yet for some reason the left ignores that.

I still think she was pushed out of being in Congress.  Arguably it was a health issue, that's the only reason I can think of for her to make the decision.  But she filed for a re-election campaign in November 2024 so she definitely didn't have it planned.  At some point, roughly a year ago, that got changed and I don't think she was the one who made the call.  Since then she's been almost completely out of the public eye.

That was an early step on the way to the current leftist purge going on in the party.  Age and Trump probably get some blame but it looked to me like the younger members of the party wanted her gone.  There was conflict with AOC and normally I would have bet on Nancy winning but it seems to have gone the other way.  Now she's returning to her immense wealth.  I'm still trying to work out a theory that this is a generational thing and somehow the left has worked out a way for the young to replace the old.  It will still fail, the young will grow old, but that's what they're doing for now.  Nancy's Institute will just be another NGO trying to funnel in more money, we'll see how that works for them.

Something about this just comes off as a stunt.  The prices around me have dropped about 50 cents/gallon in the last few weeks and I've already said that has to do with Trump helping the US oil industry for the last year.  I'd like to think this is just a preview for them to drop a lot more in the near-future.  It's only been about three weeks since Trump said the prices would be down in 90 days.  This was definitely planned all along.

He also singles out gouging by the oil industry.  I could go either way on that.  I tend to trust businesses, especially those the government always wants to punish just for existing.  The industry is also so big and complicated that anyone anywhere could be laundering enough money to raise the prices.  They've got to plan years-in-advance so there's no way to do that without looking like gouging.

And of course he points to California.  Every state has gas taxes but California is the worst.  This is something Trump will be hitting the left with, building up to the mid-terms.  It's not just about gas prices, why are the state taxes so high for everyone yet the state is still broke?  Sometimes I notice that Trump is actually aiming for multiple targets with stunts like this.  I assume he does it most or all the time, it's just harder to figure out what those other targets are.  But this is a good example of how he's able to lead.

This just seems weird in several ways.  Gates has had issues with Epstein for quite a while now and Buffett only now gets around to thinking maybe he should stop being so close?  Why didn't he have any curiosity about this until now?  It's starting to look like this is how Epstein was so capable of getting close to rich people if that's how you respond to these things.

Epstein's been dead for going on seven years and had quite a few legal issues for years before that.  Bill Gates didn't have any problems with that?  And Buffett never bothered to look into if anyone he associated with was also connected to Epstein.  How do you know they weren't stealing your billion dollars, it's not like you'd bother to check.  That's what they're doing here, showing so little interest in anything else, even giving up their own massive wealth.

No curiosity, you wait a long time to actually start ending your connections with suspicious people, nobody in your organization sees anything strange about this no matter how much news comes out about anyone involved.  How the hell do you get a billion dollars if you're so detached from everything else?  How do you keep it if you ignore obvious red flags directly in front of you.  I'm starting to think what's being exposed is the massive fraud among our wealthiest people.
