□ [“JD Vance Handles Negotiations in Switzerland – Trump Threatens to 'Blow the Sh*t Out of' Iran"]
Ok, I'm not as worried as I was a few days ago. I don't like the way this is going but it has more to do with the annoying way Trump is publicly handling these negotiations. No coherency, he's always all over the place. I assume that's just his public image, the guy you don't want to make angry, but it's irritating for anyone trying to think seriously about this. I can't even tell what Iran is supposed to comply with at this point because Trump is ignoring his previous demands. In a day or two he'll be saying Iran is great, he loves dealing with them, they're so trustworthy.
I'm fine with him doing that but does it need to be public? It would be easy to use this for evidence that he really is insane and there's no victories to point to in response. It's a good tactic, Iran needs to be on the defensive until the war is over and the mullahs are gone, it's just very tiresome to put up with Trump spouting off like this.
This is a farce. There's no agreement to be made and everyone will see that Iran is the problem. It's not clear what the US will do about it but I'm sure there's a plan in place. I'm guessing this will be finished by July 4 but that's about the only guess I'm certain about. Then there will be impact on the rest of the Middle East and Iran's global contacts. Then we'll pick the next targets. Keep in mind, it's entirely possible that Trump *will* take control of the Strait.

□ [“Trump Blasts JB Pritzker After Weekend of Chicago Violence 'I Could Make Chicago a Safe City in One Month'”]
Why hasn't he already done it? He said he was going to do it last year when he was sending troops into other cities to clean up the crime, what changed? Maybe it was an issue of manpower and logistics, that's understandable. Then there's the publicity from the cities he did help out, the people in other cities run by leftists would ask 'why don't we get any help?' They wouldn't be complaining about Trump, they'd be going after their city and state officials who are supposed to keep things safe.
Another reason for Chicago to get attention now is because the new Obama library opened up there this weekend. Nice timing, 22 people were shot this weekend and they probably weren't white. Obama and all the rich celebrities were hanging out there in the city, they sure weren't going to do anything about it. They'd probably be more likely to take part in the crimes than to stop them. At least they're surrounded by armed guards and a friendly media who will never ask them about this.
It's really not clear what the point is for Obama to have a library. He came from the internet age, anything relevant would just be on a website. Obama fans would probably prefer that too, I doubt they'll be visiting in high numbers unless there's something else going on. Then there's the fact that it's a giant ugly building, just the lack of windows seems utterly pointless. I get that they're going to be using it for fraud and laundering while they haven't even paid the construction companies yet, it just seems doomed to disaster. Locating it in Chicago is the only thing about this that makes sense, fellow scammers who helped steal this land from a poor neighborhood.
So there might be two reasons to send federal agents to Chicago and see the connections. I'd bet the Trump administration can already show Chicago and Illinois officials what evidence they already have, stuff the Democrats wouldn't want made public. As always, I hope this is going somewhere. I really expected a lot of victories out of Trump 2.0 and so far there's been a lot of 'maybe we'll do something at some point in the future.' Chicago could use the help and they aren't getting it from Democrats.

□ [“Ilhan Omar Claims Husband Earned Less Than $1,000 Last Year"]
He's been a professional investor for years and still has nothing to show for it? Less than a thousand dollars in a year won't get you anywhere in DC. Yet for all the years he's done this, not only has he not made any large amounts of money, he hasn't lost any either. How does that work? He only invests fifty cents in a business, he invests a lot but loses 95% of it in other investments every single year?
Then there's the basic typos they made all these years to declare themselves wealthy and only now got around to noticing they were always wrong. Most people would be hysterical at that discovery, where else have they been making these same simple mistakes every single year? But nope, these two seem totally confident that they haven't screwed up anywhere else and didn't notice the decimal was in the wrong place.
She's the most obvious target but there's a lot of others in Congress and the bureaucracy doing this. My guess is they're helping to launder money although I'm sure they're helping themselves to it in the process. But they might have been cut off by all the accusations and investigations going on. DC is not a cheap place to live so this might be causing them problems elsewhere, or getting them to make decisions that will get them caught. Or someone who makes less money might turn on them.

□ [“Convicted Murderer Karmelo Anthony Begs for Taxpayer Assistance After Raising Over $600,000"]
Well this dropped out of the news quickly. The left really wanted to start some movement for this guy and suddenly discovered that nobody will stand with them. They're just defending a blatant murderer because of his skin color, not a smart way to go. And notice that none of them are giving the money he needs to file an appeal. They aren't *that* dedicated to the cause.
I will admit being shocked that his parents went so quickly to leeching all the money that came in. There was no hesitation, they just grabbed everything immediately, no long-term planning. The smartest interpretation is that they knew their son wasn't worth anything so they needed to get what they could the brief moment there was a chance, before the truth came out. But that means they knew they were ditching their son without the slightest hesitation. At least turning against him as a murderer would show that they know 'right' and 'wrong.' They knew he was wrong and lied about it to bring in the cash.
Then there's the shock at something I really didn't expect. Mothers have stayed with their murderous children despite all evidence before, what's this lady's problem? Not even any shame about it, she doesn't care about the dead kid or her son trapped in prison for the next several decades, she just wants the money. I would say the same thing about his father, at least in a decent family. They're married and have four kids yet this is how they ended up.
I doubt the money will last very long. If they can't make long-term plans and are so quick to leech from others, they won't just maintain their regular lifestyle and put the money in the bank for when they need it. That's assuming they don't fall for anyone else's scams, or just get robbed by their neighbors. Just think of how many others just like their son are still out there.
