The cracks in the EU continue to grow wider.  Eastern Europe thought they were done with socialism when the Warsaw Pact finally fell, now they have to put up with the west and they're having enough of it.  There is no reason to waste money and weapons on someone else's war.  Yet the leftist elites still refuse to 'give peace a chance.'  Four years in and they're still not rushing to the front lines, they're demanding others handle that.

Chaos seems to be growing all across Europe.  I'm still debating whether or not to include Britain in that because it would make its own argument without connection to Europe.  It's also interesting that each nation's problems seem to be quite specific to them.  You don't just see pro- or anti-EU protests, for instance.  These countries were built over centuries by people who lived in this land.  Any replacement and that country vanishes.

And they still can't do anything to build their military strength.  This wasn't even a grand European project, it was two member states - admittedly with continent-wide aerospace companies - trying to build a better fighter jet.  They agreed to do this in 2017 and nearly ten years later haven't even gotten started.  This is what the EU is able to spend billions on.

Haven't followed this case closely and am not interested enough to look up what I missed.  A black Texas teenager - high school athlete? - barged into a tent from one of the opposing teams and harassed them.  They didn't like it so he murdered one of them.  And there you go, first degree murder by someone who has no reason to stay alive.

The left has been pushing this stuff for quite a while now.  They use their expendable forces to (a) kill people and (b) be punished as martyrs and encourage others to do the same thing.  They've used all their funding methods to get the activists involved - the Black Panthers are demanding a "race war" - but this shows how desperate the left is.

We'll see how many blacks are genuinely stupid enough to obey their masters and how many actually see this makes no sense and are just tired of this.  'You break in on someone else, you deserve to get killed' is basic sensibility.  Even the black teammates supported the white kid against the black attacker.  But liberals support the attacker, they don't know any better.

This would have gotten started anyway but I suspect one major reason for this push to happen immediately is because Trump has done so much for the last to year to bring peace to black neighborhoods.  He's been getting rid of violent criminals and making the streets safer, something their Democrat masters have refused to do for decades.

They're going to push for violence this summer.  That probably won't help Democrats in the mid-terms but they aren't worried about votes.  I still think the leftist elites self-identify as a separate nation so they need to send the peons out to die for the cause.  This mentality seems to be a basic part of human nature and I really suspect it's behind most-if-not-all of what goes wrong in every society in history.

You went after the English for less than this.  You spent centuries going after the English.  And now you're letting these subhuman scum murder you?  I'd ask why the IRA isn't getting rid of them but a brief look at their history suggests whoever's left probably supports this and is funded by the taxpayer.

If anyone in Britain still wants these mongrels to remain alive, get them out of Britain now.  Then join them because you don't deserve it either.  There is no incentive to let any of them continue to breathe.  If any of them deserved that right, they'd have already been turning the scum over for punishment.  It's clear whose side they're on and it's not Britain.

Fight back.  The difficult part is getting arms.  Sad to say, the best idea I have is to find allies in police and political parties who are able to smuggle them in.  Hopefully there are Americans who will help.  If Trump wants to send in the 101st Airborne to take over, I'd be fine with that.  Otherwise I don't think it would be helpful for a handful of Americans to come over and think they'd make any difference, much as I wish they could.

The movie is dead.  Monday's box office shows it barely made $20,000 more than the Michael Jackson bioflick which came out four weeks earlier and is in @700 fewer theaters.  It's still almost $100 million less than Return of the Jedi in 1983 and no matter how long Disney keeps it in theaters, it'll never get much closer.

I still think there's a good chance that Kathleen Kennedy and her ilk intended to fail, burning everything down.  Maybe so they could remake it from the ground up, maybe just so new 'girl-power' franchises could replace it.  Both theories seem unrealistic but how could they have expected success with such ever-increasing failure in less than a decade.  The first sequel movie had a lot of hopeful fans.  The third one made barely half as much and the failures just kept building.

Other than Baby Yoda marketed to whatever that audience is, none of the merchandise is selling.  The other characters are barely remembered, much less followed by fans.  Disneyland is re-installing One True Franchise material, Hayden Christensen has already made one or two appearances and is scheduled for more.  Might help a little but it's still depending on what they wanted to get rid of in the first place.

Lucasfilm must have purchased the visual IPs of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, why not just generate a cgi adventure and use decent fake voice actors?  Not saying Disney could do that well and not saying the fans would be forgiving even at that point but it seems like the best chance they have to win over people's interest again.

They obviously were trying to do an actual storyline.  It's not confirmed yet but I still think next year's movie was intended to build up to the return of the sequel characters, or at least Ray.  Marvel did a very good job of making an actual movie franchise in ten years with Phases 1-3 and Disney purchased it halfway through the process so they expected to replicate it everywhere.  Now they can't even get people interested in Disney+ streaming which is another colossal failure.
