Did you say it's over? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Death Star blew up Tatooine?

□ [“Florida Black Woman Films Herself Attacking White Man, Rants That He Was on the Karmelo Jury"]
So this is what the left is trying to do now. The second attack in Florida so far. They really think this is going to work. That's how smart they are. The only real question is how many blacks will agree with this? The higher the percentage, the more evidence that there is no equality, there never will be and we should stop pretending.
At a guess, I suspect many/most blacks will realize they need to distinguish themselves from these creatures so they'll act more sensible and decent. That will hit the elite black community hard since they rely on these people stupid enough to violently oppose punishing a murderer. I still haven't found any public statement from Obama and the white leftist sites I check remain silent.
□ [“Karmelo Anthony’s Grandmother Riles Up Crowd at Courthouse – White People Can Do 'Whatever the F*ck They Want”']
All Planned Parenthood needs to do is put this family in an ad and they're guaranteed massive support, possibly even taxpayer money. Margaret Sanger founded it to remove these worthless people as cheaply and easily as possible. And they are demonstrating that it applies to the entire family.
I think the left will try to get some protests out of this. Maybe it'll work but I doubt there will be much. School is out, there's the fake holiday coming up in a week or so, they've got all this hype, maybe they finally found an actual reason for blacks to show up. But I don't think they'll get as much support as they expect. If anything, they'll just do more damage to their own neighborhoods.

□ [“Trump Says US Will Hit Iran 'Very Hard Tonight,' 'Bomb The Sh*t Out of Them'"]
□ [“Trump Cancels Planned Iran Strikes – Memo to be Signed Next Week"]
□ [“Trump Says Settlement Reached With Iran – Deal Could be Signed This Weekend"]
These three articles came out within five-and-a-half hours. It would be very nice to believe it's true. That would mean we've hit Iran hard yesterday and were ready to do it today but they've finally had enough. He did suggest he'll put a small number of troops on the ground to take over, I'm guessing that would be a special forces team and I doubt 'taking over' would be the mission. They might grab the current Ayatollah, that would be close enough.
The downside is this might not be true. It might be Trump making threats but then backing down. He keeps doing that and I don't think it looks good to anybody. You can argue that he's shown what he's capable of and the threats are necessary to move the mullahs and IRGC, maybe that's true but it's nothing we can bet on. He keeps staying there's a deal being made but so far that's always remained just out of reach, why should we expect it to be different now?
All that said, there's no evidence but I get the impression most of the negotiating parties are in agreement about whatever-the-f*ck they've been talking about for months. Israel, most of the Middle East nations, whoever's left in Iran to negotiate, China and Russia are certainly involved. This war does seem to be reaching a conclusion and so far nobody is rushing into actual combat. I have no proof and I'm not saying everything will be peaceful within a week but I do suspect we're nearing the end of something that really needed to be taken care of but no one else had been willing to do.
And one other note, gas prices are definitely going down. Not a lot but all the gas stations I pass daily have dropped at least 20 cents from the highpoint a couple weeks ago. I still think this was definitely part of the plan, Trump helping oil companies last year to minimize the price increases when he dealt with Iran, then cutting prices as soon as possible. He just boasted that 100 million gallons (or whatever) of crude are now leaving the Strait, almost literally promising a huge decrease in prices soon.

□ [“After Saying NYC is in 'Historic' Budget Crisis, Mamdani Announces Multi-Million ‘Investment’ in Gender Affirming Care"]
Is he doing this deliberately or just saying whatever he's told to say? As a leftist and Muslim, no way to know. He is demonstrating what these people do whenever they're in charge and has no interest in or respect for the city itself. No interest in its history or neighborhoods. It's about pushing leftism but I have to wonder how much of this is to bother Trump. He was always a New Yorker at heart although he hasn't lived there for quite a while.
Mamdani is doing as much as he can to make NYC a third-world state. It's already been noticed - by a Democrat on the city council no less - that all his funding goes to places that voted for him. Some potholes are more important than others. He can lie about 'inclusivity' as much as he wants, he's only going to support the tribe and no one else.
□ [“Mamdani Backs Congressional Candidate Who Called America a 'F***ing Disgrace'"]
And that's just what he's doing to the city. This goes up the line to the county, the state and the nation, erasing it from what's important to these people. I'm sure most of them are deluded to believe in some worldwide paradise (which they're in charge of) but only the most elite can ever get to a point where they can sound like that and not be in danger. Everybody else has to face reality at some point and then need to rely on whoever's on their side. Then they get abandoned and have no where else to go. If it wasn't so disastrous, this would make a good snapshot of how pathetic and guaranteed-to-failure Mamdani and his fellow leftists are. They're not the danger so much as who benefits from them against the rest of us.

□ [“Charles To Review Free Rent for Disgraced Andrew’s Daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie"]
They're only now getting around to even notice this? The girls are 36 and 38 years old, they have jobs and wealthy husbands and they've never even considered paying rent? The taxpayer has to do everything? Their father has been humiliated for years and deserved worse but this hasn't even been raised as an issue before? They aren't meaningful parts of the royal family but still get all the privileges?
Charles isn't going to do anything. Perhaps there will be enough publicity that the girls feel obliged to take a little less money in such blatant ways but that's about it. They have nothing else to offer but feel entitled to get everything. I assume they both have plenty of kids who will just continue doing the same thing. This is the worst thing they could be doing at this moment so that's what they'll do.
William says when he takes the throne he'll start cutting down on expenses like this. I've said nice things about William before but I'm skeptical. Charles could have done this at any point so there's no reason to think William would do better. I've said before that I think the British monarchy is one of the few remaining building blocks of western civilization but this is what it's reduced to. There was no way to avoid giving Charles the crown - it would have taken more work for him to avoid it - but the only good move he could have made was to turn around and hand it to William. That would have had potential, now it's worthless.
