He's just noticing now?  The guy seems to be doing better after the brain surgery but most people have known about this for decades.  It is strange that they seem to have suddenly turned a corner in the last week, a lot of Democrats are having problems with that.  They managed to win a few small elections that aren't in the normal cycle and suddenly think this is enough to overthrow the government.  In the process, they're going to piss everybody else off which will not help them in November.

They're also leaving themselves open to obvious hypocrisy.  An obvious example is how much money George Soros is throwing in for November.  Suddenly all that ranting against billionaires vanishes.  At least a prostitute has to please the customer, these Democrats aren't even doing that.  And a lot of them are only now starting to realize that?

They always run to this argument like there's any real difference between any of these terms.  It's a useful weapon for them to demand specific definitions - even as they say "violence" is disagreeing with them - but it's central to the conflict between collectivism and individualism.  Whatever brand of 'socialist' they are delude themselves into thinking they're nicer about it but they always side with the hardcore communists.  They think there's a difference but it really doesn't matter.  We've seen this since the 1930s, Germans thought socialism should start in one nation instead of immediately trying to be international.

You could argue that people like this wealthy woman on mass media think they can impose their socialist changes without disrupting anything but that won't work.  They'd still need to turn to Muslims to do the actual work, which is what Europe is doing.  They also don't allow free media or citizens to be armed.  I've seen multiple comments on social media pointing out that one side has the 2nd Amendment and knows how to use it, the best the left can do is claim they can do it too.  Not likely.

New York is where most of the attention is going, Mamdani is already deciding he can declare anything and there's no higher power to stop him.  He's already announced he'll defy federal law and the Supreme Court to defend illegal immigrants.  Asked if he wants the rules changed so he can run for POTUS, he laughingly avoids the question and says he's focused on running NYC, which is basically the answer Obama gave in 2006.

This landlord just points out that the rent may be frozen in place but the cost of maintenance can still go up, so the apartments can't be fixed.  Leftists unanimously refuse to consider this.  I wish there was some to mandate that they actually go through what they're invoking on everyone else, running a rental or a business before you make laws affecting them.  I don't own property or a business but at least I can see problems they have.  The left only sees oppression, even if they have to make it up as an excuse for power.

We still have to worry about election fraud but the left is giving the right a powerful weapon, months of promoting what these people want to do to the rest of us.  These people can't restrain themselves now, every incentive possible to get the masses to stand against them.  If the vote gets out, that's fine but I don't see any way this can avoid going kinetic.  But even that isn't too worrisome, it's not like they have people who are competent with weapons.

The two black infants he and his husband 'adopted.'  Everything about this comes off as creepy no matter what.  Buttigieg was the one who announced this was happening so it's entirely possible he's making this up.  He still wants to run for POTUS and IIRC he got 0% black support in the 2024 primaries.  That alone would be incentive for him to be as close to children as possible.  And if they're black, it's not like anyone will care what he does.

Beyond that, there is the obvious possibility that he did whatever he's accused of.  If he was Republican, the media would be rushing out to give every possible detail, even if they had to make it up.  But he's not so they'll keep silent about it as long as possible, no matter what.  We might find out that some big media personalities have the same interest in small children, perhaps they even know Buttigieg's children quite well.

If it's a false accusation someone else has thrown out, I don't care much either way.  That's wrong but it happens to Republicans and there's no 'equal treatment.'  I'd be more interested in who made the accusations.  Someone on the right?  That's wrong, but...  Someone on the left?  Who and why?  Did they need to take down a potential candidate, are the accusers Muslim?  Maybe it's just a next-door neighbor who really doesn't like him.

□ [“Supergirl Crash - Warner Bros To Lose $200M+ | David Ellison Has to Decide James Gunn Fate"]

They hassled us for months on social media and didn't need consent, damn right we're going to be happy to see the failure.  A lot more people are entertained by this than actually seeing the movie.  It's not doing as well as the new Star Wars movie, or the Marvels in 2021.  It's doing far worse than the 2021 Black Widow which was available on streaming at the same time and theaters were closed for covid.

There is something being changed about the marketing.  On opening day, there were a lot of 'bots and influencers on social media attacking men for the failure but they've all dropped that.  Someone at the studio must have realized that they believe in dozens and dozens of genders, none of whom are buying tickets, so it's bad idea to blame one gender.  Haven't heard anything about Supergirl being a gay icon either.  So it's not clear what they're changing but that has to happen.

But Warner Bros. is a big company, I've also seen ads on social media for some future movie, announcing who's in the running to play Darkseid.  There are probably DC employees demanding he be redone with Orange skin, wink wink.  A lot of people are attached to this no matter how much it fails.

Even though I'm paying attention, I still don't focus on these franchises enough to really follow James Gunn so I can only speculate on what he does.  I've never seen his work other than the preview ad for Tromeo and Juliet.  He had a novel approach to Guardians of the Galaxy which had growing buzz for the MCU and also didn't depend too much on the other movies.  It appealed to a lot of people so he was up-and-coming.

Then there was the big deal over his child-molesting tweets.  He lost his job but the actors defended him so he was brought back for one more Guardians movie.  For whatever reason, DC liked this and hired him to reboot their franchise.  That got a lot of publicity but just ruined everything.  They already had several expensive movies ready for release which were irrelevant so they bombed.  His reboot just goes all over the place, cramming in characters which even comics fans don't care about.  I don't think anybody could repeat Marvel's success but this was a really bad way to go about trying.

So as Warner Bros. is being taken over by another corporation, they see a big franchise being destroyed by a self-absorbed pervert and one-trick pony who has yet to have a hit with these very-expensive releases.  I know he's on contract for at least another year but there's no way they can allow him to do anything else.  Even I was interested in the Looney Toons preview but now there's no way it can happen.  So there's more entertaining disaster to watch without having to buy a ticket.
